EXTREME RULES: DAY OF
(Brandon POV)

Alright! Today is the day! Extreme rules is tonight and I'm itching for a fight. The fiend awaits, let's get it!

Myself and my lovely Riott Squad counterparts made our way back to the Amway Center for one of the most extreme nights of the year. Dori and Gionna were understandably concerned about this match going into it seeing as it was announced that it was an extreme rules match, but I wasn't phased. He can be all big and bad for however long he wants to. I've seen 'em all come, and I've seen 'em all go... tonight... is no different.

After entering the backstage area, the three of us made our way to my locker room to relax and get ready for what was sure to be my own personal hell. As the time drew near, the girls got their makeup done for TV purposes, G helped me get my gear on and directed my attention to the task at hand before leaving with Dori to go to catering.

"You ready babe?"

"As ready as I'll ever be... tonight's gonna be fun."

"Just be careful alright? I've seen what he can do. Especially in these conditions."

"I will... but I also have to finish... The Fiend..."

"I know... but still."

I looked up at Gionna, who at this point had an arm around my shoulder and kissed her to which she accepted before I finished getting ready for the war at hand.

Our match was the main event of the night, so you know the company had high expectations for us. Bray uncharacteristically came out first, I guess to play mind games before I even got out there. As his red lights dawned over the arena, The Fiend made his ominous presence known in the thunder-dome.

The mood soon shifted as I made my way out from the back. I forewent my usual eccentric movements in favor of a more stoic entrance as I stared down the being in the ring. I calmly walked up the steps, and stepped into the ring never once taking my eyes off him. All the while my championship slung over my shoulder.

As my music faded out, Bray and I had an intense stare-down which only peaked when I raised my title over my head never breaking my gaze into the soul of the former Eater of Words. He didn't budge and simply raised his arms out to the side as fire shot up from the ring posts as well as from behind the fan screens and from the stage as well. I didn't panic as I turned off my ring gear lights and took off my jacket before zoning in.

The bell soon rang signaling Armageddon as The fiend charged head first right at me. I darted out of the way just in time as he went sailing into the post shoulder first. That didn't seem to deter him at all as he shook himself off and went on the attack again. This match wasn't about flips, great athletic spots, or technical wrestling moves. Just pure aggression. And that's exactly what happened. The two of us held nothing back as we put our all into each strike.

10 minutes later Bray had me laid out in the ring as he introduced a table to the fray. He brought me out to the apron and landed a few more shots to my back before attempting to throw me through the table. That attempt was blocked by yours truly not once, but twice before I nailed Bray with a super-kick which sent him crashing through the table. True to Fiend form however, he soon rose up rather quickly, shook himself off, and stared a hole right through me. Admittedly, I was a little shook, but I focused back in and hit a V-Trigger like knee from the apron to Bray before picking him up and rolling him back to the ring.
