3. Best Friends

I woke up the next day to a girl shaking my body very excitedly. I slightly opened my eyes and saw Pansy.

"Good you're awake." she said "We have to go to the great hall for breakfast, get ready." she said.

I jumped out of bed and went to my closet.
"I swear Pansy if you do that again I won't hesitate to crucio you" I said while walking to the bathroom.

She gasped and I started laughing. "Merlin Pansy, I'm joking." I said trying to regain my breath. She let out a sarcastic laugh.

Once I was done getting dressed I went to the common room and saw Draco sitting on the couch with Pansy next to him, clinging on his arm.
That girl really has a crush on him.

When he saw me he quickly stood up and walked towards me.
"Merlin what took you so long. That girl doesn't leave me alone." he said frustrated.
"I think Parkinson has a little crush on you blondie." I said while laughing. He gave me a death glare and walked out of the common room and I quickly followed him.

"So, have an idea about how to befriend Potter?" he asked. I nodded.
"I'm going to try to get close to his friends first." I simply stated.
"How are you gonna do that?" he asked.
"I'm just gonna observe, that's always the first step." I said.

We walked into the great hall and I sat down with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle.

I wasn't really following the conversation, I was to focused on Potter and his two friends until someone sat down in front of me.

"Hey Grindewald." Mattheo said.
"What do you want Riddle? I'm busy." I said trying to look at Potter again.
"I want to know about your task." he said. I shot him a glare.
"Shut the fuck up, you can't just talk about that." I growled.
"Okay, then I just want to talk about something else." he said.
"I don't like you, go away, you're annoying." I said with a fake smile. He was going to say something but I just grabbed Draco's arm a pulled him out of the great hall with me.

"Merlin Lizzie I wasn't done eating." he said once we were out of the great hall.
"Doesn't matter, you have to help me find the twins." I said. He gave me a confused look.
"The Weasley twins?" I nodded. "Ew why?" he said disgusted.
"I'll explain it later. We have to find them before class begins." I said while pulling him through the corridors.

I heard a girl scream and then people laughing. "Found them" I said.
"What? How? Where are they?" Draco said confused.
"In the train they said they like pulling pranks on people. So that's probably them." I said and Draco just nodded.

We got to where the sound came from and there they were.
"Hey Liz, Draco." Fred said smiling.
I walked over to them, Draco just following me.
"Hey guys, what are you doing?" I asked.
"We just pulled a prank on Angelina Johnson." George said laughing.
We stood there talking for a few minutes till I noticed we almost had to get to class.

"Hey guys, Draco and I have potions now. Do you know where we have to be?" I asked, genuinely not knowing where to go.
"Yes, we can take you if you want." Fred said. I nodded and they started leading us to class.

After a few minutes we got there. Before I entered I asked them if we could sit together at lunch. They said yes. Another step closer to Potter now.

I entered the class and saw Harry's other friend, that mudblood Granger. I went and sat next to her. I didn't say anything, I just sat there waiting for the teacher.

After a few minutes she said something. "Hey, Elizabeth right?" she asked.
"Yes, but you can call me Liz." she smiled. That one always works, they immediately think we are friends.
"Granger?" I asked.
"Yes, Hermione Granger." she said.
"I never heard of your family?" I said.
"Ow yea, I'm muggle born." she said looking down a little bit ashamed.
"Oh my merlin, that's so cool." I said. She looked up at me and smiled.
