Itadori was always on his phone. Megumi grew suspicious of his friend enduring his phone most of the school days.
"Who are you texting?" Megumi asked. "Just a friend." Itadori quickly answered. Megumi was taken back by the sharp. His suspicion grew more. "Who's your friend."
Itadori looked up at his phone. "My online friend. Y/n" He said going back to his phone. He's been talking to Y/n for almost 3 years. He wanted to meet them so badly but They live in C/n, so it was basically impossible to meet up. "What's her name?" He asked. Itadori raised an eyebrow. He was invested in his conversation, he forgot the question.
"What?" He looked up. "For goodness sake, Yuji look up and get off your phone," Megumi said annoyed. "What?" Itadori said looking back up. "Why are you talking to this person?"
Itadori looked unfazed. "They're my friend and I like talking to them, They're kind and sweet." He said.
"Do you even know what they look like??" Megumi asked. "Of course I do." He said showing a picture. "Woah.." Megumi said astounded.
"They're stunning.." Itadori said looking at the photo. "Would you ever meet Them?" Megumi asked. "I would love to but they live in C/n and it's pretty far from Japan." He said melancholy.
"Bummer," Megumi said walking away. Itadori watched as Megumi figured disappeared. He looked at the photo, wishing he could meet his best friend.
That night, he received a message from Y/n.
"We'll meet one day."
Itadori's heart sank. He knew it would be impossible to pay the cost of flight expenses.
"I wish."
He replied going to sleep.
The next few months was the same school, training and lunch. He was talking to Megumi and Nobara. Megumi sighed and took a deep breath in.
"Itadori, we have a surprise for you," Megumi said. "Yes, you'll love it alot." Nobara smiled excitedly. They blindfolded him. They brought him to a room. Itadori was nervous but excited about the gift his best friend put up for him.
"What is it?"
"Take your blindfold off."
A familiar voice filled his ears. He quickly took it off and was met by his online best friend of 3 years. "Y/N??" He said shocked
"The one and only." They said smiling "No way you flew here to Japan." He said touching their shoulders to feel if they were real. "I did. It was worth it." They sat there smiling.
"I'm in awe right now," Itadori said shaking happily. "Come and give me a hug Itadori." Itadori didn't hesitate and hugged them, tightly. Tears weld in his eyes. He was so over-excited he burst into tears and questions. Y/n patted his back calming him down and held his hands. "Don't worry, I'll be here for a while." They said smiling.
"How did you guys do this?" He turned to his friends smiling. "We got into contact with them and decided to help in and fly them out for a while," Nobara said clasping her hands together happily. "It was my idea," Megumi added. "Thank you guys so much. you don't know much this means to me." Itadori said grinning like an idiot.
"No problem." Nobara and Megumi said.
Itadori took Y/n to his favourite cafe. Letting them explore the city and taking the new atmosphere.
"This is the cafe I promised myself to bring you if we ever meet up,"
He said holding their hand. "This is really nice." You said looking around. "My favourite cafe," Itadori added.
They entered the cafe. They went and ordered their stuff and sat back down. They laughed and talked for a while.
"You didn't lie when you said your hair is puffy." He said looking amused at it. "You can take it." You said leaning towards him. He touched it and was mesmerized. He felt up the tight curls you had and examined it.
"Woah.." he said leaning back in his seat. "Yep," you sat back down. "It's cool, how well kept it is." He complimented. "It takes time but it's worth it." You smiled. "I would like you bring you somewhere,"
Itadori said getting up and taking Y/n's hand.
Itadori guided Y/n to a hill. A place he goes to calm his nerves. He loved the scenery and would bring his friends. "This is my calm place," He said sitting down. "It's beautiful." You said sitting back down. "Yeah.." Itadori eyes wandered.
He stole a few glances at you and finally met your gaze.
"I want to ask you something." He said nervously fidgeting. "Hmm?" You said turning to him. "Uhm.. I." He stuttered. He was blushing and a nervous wreck. You calmed him down and told him to speak slowly.
"I want to be more than friends.
"Your eyes widen at his confession. You looked at him with honest eyes.
