Chapter 8

A week later

Regina was now working fully from home. Reginas mother and sister where taking the reins on everything going on in the office while Regina was doing meetings and finishing up her sketches from the comfort of home.

Robin smiled as he peaked into her home office seeing papers scattered and Regina sitting at her desk with her glasses hugging the tip of her nose as she was reading. "I can feel you staring at me" Regina says looking up with a smile "sorry beautiful" Robin say smiling as she walked in kissing her head. "How is work coming along" he asks as he looked over his wife's work as she smiled gently "almost done I definitely have been able to get more done here then at the office, getting to stay in my pjs and be home has been a definite good change for now anyway" Regina says as she rubs her bump gently, Robin smiled as he gently places his hand on her bump as well as he smiled feeling his daughter's little kicks against his hand hearing Regina's little giggles.

"I think I'm gonna go grab some lunch down town I've really been craving a good grilled cheese" Regina says as Robin smiled "I'd love to join but I have a meeting with my publisher in twenty minutes" he says with a pout "hun I'll be fine a nice walk and some time alone will be good for me not that I don't want you there its just I get my best inspiration for my work when I'm alone in my thoughts" she says smiling standing up Robin pulling her close by her hips kissing her softly. "I'll make sure to bring you back somthing I promise I love you" she says "please be careful I love you to" he says gently poking her nose as she smiled pecking his lips again as she made her way upstairs to change into some pants and a shirt her dresses where beginning to not be the most comfortable clothing at the moment as she slipped on some flats and grabbed her purse walking out into the afternoon air.

It was a bit cloudy but with the sun peaking through a bit it was just the perfect amout of  warmth for a nice walk. Regina looked around as she walked always being a people watcher as she smiled waving to those who waved to her and saying hello to many of those who recognized her. When she reached the little Cafe at the end of the street she smiled ordering her grilled cheese and a lemonade as she sat outside fixing her sun hat on her head so the sun was out of her eyes as she sighed looking out to the greenery in front of her. Reginas hand resting on her bump as she smiled "I wish you were here to see all of this its so peaceful, I can't wait to see your precious face and hold you in my arms" she says softly to her stomach as she ate her sandwich smiling.

A few moments later Regina was taken out of her thoughts when she notices someone sit down across from her.

"Excuse me but I'd really like to be left alone" Regina says turing her head almost falling from her seat seeing it was her ex Graham.

"What are you doing here I told you I never wanted to see you again" Regina says as Graham looked at Regina taken back by how beautiful she was.

"you look absolutely beautiful" he says as Regina rolled her eyes "please go" she says as he shakes his head

"look Regina I'm so sorry for what I did I just you chose your work over me and I was angry, we where kids I didn't know how much all this actually meant to you and I see now I was wrong" Graham says

"I think its a bit late for that, what do you want Graham you must know im married and have a baby on the way what the hell do you want from me" she asks aggravated.

"I was gonna offer my help for you I can see you with child and I wanted to offer my help with maybe getting your sketches to and from the office for you I can be like your personal assistant" he says.

Regina laughs softly "you really think if I were to hire an assistant I would hire you and I already have my mother and sister who help me out with everything why would I ever hire you" she says.

"Because you know im a good worker and I still care about you I always have even if we can't be together we can be friends" he says.

"Ha friends, Graham you destroyed a part of me. I loved you and you proved to me you can never be trusted, now I said go please" she says starting to get up to leave.

"Regina please let me help you I was awful to you please let me make it up to you, you deserve that" he says his hand on her arm

Regina just looks at him pulling her arm away as she picks up Robin's food and starts her walk back home. "How could he just think he could come back into my life and tell me I needed his help, he hurt me and that can never be forgiven but how dare he try to step into all I've build just out of guilt for his own mistakes" Regina thinks to herself as she walk home. As she heads inside she hears Robin in his meeting as she quietly goes into the kitchen putting his grilled cheese in the toaster to warm as she sits down.

Regina looks through some of her sketches at the table as she sips her tea after the afternoon she had she just wanted to relax. Robin soon appears in the kitchen.

"Hey honey how did the meeting go please tell me they like what you've written so far" Regina says with a soft smile as Robin noded " they loved it I have a few more chapters to write then the book will be published" he says smiling.

"Oh baby that's so exciting im so proud of you" Regina says standing up wrapping her arms around Robin's neck as he pulled her closed smiling "and how was your lunch any inspiration come to you" he asks as Regina sighs sitting back down.

"Do you remember Graham, my old boyfriend back in High School, well he decided to drop by for a visit while I was eating my lunch, he asked to be my assistant, I said no of course but its just strange I haven't seen him in years and yet he tries to get back into my life" she says as Robin sits down beside her.

"I'll keep an eye on him he clearly just wants in for the money" Robin says as Regina looks at him "maybe but I think it might be more then that I think this may have a little somthing to do with Gold" Regina says as she lays her head to Robin's shoulder as he takes his hand in hers "I won't let that happen Regina" Robin says as Regina nods softly she couldn't help but worry.
