7. Dragons

Alexia's POV*

I woke up to see Cedric sleeping next to me.

"Good morning." he groaned tiredly.

"Hi." I smiled.

"Shit!" He cursed.

"What?" I asked confused.

"The first task is today." He informed me.

"Oh..." I groaned sadly.

"Hey, it's going to be okay. I'm Cedric Diggory, I can do this." He reassured me.

"Yeah." I smiled unsure.

I got up and changed into black leggings and my Salvatore 03 hoodie. I put on my new converse from Draco before Cedric left, going to get ready.

I went next door and walked into Draco's room without knocking.

"WAKE UP DRAGON!" I screamed

Draco fell off his bed with a thump as I began to laugh.

"Fuck you Lex." He groaned.

"First task begins in an hour, get dressed." I ordered while sitting on his sofa and reading one of his many books.

Draco sighed before getting his clothes and going into the bathroom.

I heard the shower turn on and I began to text my family telling them that it was the first task today and they're battling Dragons.

My family text me saying to tell Ced good luck and told me to be safe.

I finished going through my phone and Snapchat just as Draco walked out.

He was wearing a black dress coat, like for a tuxedo, why is he getting dressed up?

"You look good" I smiled at Draco.

"As do you." He smiled back.

"Let's go get breakfast then head out to the task." I said.

Draco and I walked down to the great hall in silence. I was worrying about all the possibilities that could occur during this first task.

We got into the great hall and sat on the slytherin table.

I was sat between Mattheo and Draco, across from Ellie and Blaise.

"How are you feeling?" Ellie asked me.

"I'm okay." I shrugged while drinking the glass of blood provided for me.

"Are you sure? You look pale." Blaise said.

"Haven't eaten much recently." I joke hinting to the blood.

"Oh." He gulped, which made Draco, Mattheo and I laugh.

"Everyone, outside. The first task will begin shortly." Dumbledore announced.

"Ah shit, here we go" Mattheo said.

We all walked out and sat at the arena that was placed around what I'm presuming is now the playing field for the dragons.

Suddenly a loud bang went off and I saw Cedric come out.

"Wooohooo Ced!!" I cheered.

He looked up at me and smiled.

I saw out of the corner of my eye a real fucking dragon.

"What the fuck." I sighed.

Cedric battled the dragon tremendously well and got the egg.

He left without a scratch.

Then it was Krum, Fleur, and finally Scar Head.

He was doing shitty until know-it-all Granger told him to use his wand.
