Light rain drops coated the outside of the truck window, they trailed downwards leaving patches of water in the crack of the window. Venus's eyes watched them closely, each leaving behind a faded line. A distant memory of some sort. She wasn't sure why this saddened her, but it did deeply. She wanted to cry for a moment, it was an unfortunate situation and yet she found it hard to even grasp the idea of it. It was just water, it's just water Venus, stop being so emotional. She sighed as she pushed the door open, school.
Gosh she hated this place, she pushed her hood over her head. She could feel those water drips hitting her. She walked towards the school with a fast pace, her fingers shoved inside her pocket.
Biology class, she had hoped it was an easy day, she couldn't go another second hearing teachers speak. She was new, why should she endure this endless suffering of work she doesn't know.
It's not like she'd do the homework, at least not right away. She'd let it sit on her desk for a week and then when she felt that small moment, of energy. She'd do the work, it would be perfect.
She wiped the water off the ends of her boots on the carpet beside the entrance way. It was dingy looking, coated with water and grim. She walked down the hallway, cringing whenever her boots would squeak loudly.
When she entered the classroom, putting her jacket neatly on the coat rack beside her door. She could see him right away, the way he hunched over.
His fingers digging harshly into the table, into his nostrils as he sat beside Bella. He looked like he wanted to either cry or scream. Venus frowned deeply at him as she walked past the table.
Bella looked so confused as she sat beside the boy, his gaze was on her so intensely. Like he wanted to eat her or something. Venus rolled her eyes at the back of his head when she sat down.
The seat beside her, was empty. Thank goodness for that, she didn't wanna interact with anyone. Her social battery had drained why before she even sat down in her chair, she was exhausted.
She could hear the soft hum of rain tapping along the window. She turned and watched the water trial downwards, she found it so relaxing to watch.
Light footsteps entered her eardrums, along with the sudden sound of someone sitting beside her. She turned, the girl from before sitting beside her.
She seemed so well put together, her hair was straight and perfect. Not a single strand of it was out of place or messed up.
Venus would've greeted her or said anything but she didn't feel the need to. She looked back to the window, her eyes following the water.
She could see that boy still freaking out from the corner of her eyes. His eyes bore into Bella so harshly, Venus wouldn't be surprised if a hole began melting away into Bella's skin.
Maybe he was on drugs? he looked like he was shaking now that Venus looked at him fully. His back was tense, she practically saw his teeth chattering together.
He was acting really weird, maybe he was just having a bad day. He was suffering in silence, it was like his insides were burning. He was like this the entire class, he looked ready to vomit.
His back muscles looked ready to snap in half as he let out heaps of deep growls. Then the bell went off, he didn't even acknowledge the people around him.
He grabbed his bag and ran, his entire body shaking as he stormed out of the classroom. Venus huffed at the boys absence as she stood up, her bag felt heavy as she put it on her shoulder.
Bella looked furious as she walked out of the classroom, she didn't look at Venus when she went towards her. But no, Venus's gaze shifted to something else. Her eyes looked at the table in front of her, the wood was dented in.
She frowned deeply as she noticed the shape of the dent, it was a hand print or more so fingers. Had that boy really broken the table like that? Was he really that disoriented that he lost it?
She sighed to herself as has walked out of the classroom. Bella walked out of the office, she looked so red, so angry with the world.
"Bella, you alright? That kid in class was like staring into your soul". Bella huffed "I don't know what his problem was. It was so weird".
Venus walked beside Bella towards the doorway. "He was probably on some hardcore drugs" Bella stopped walking and looked at Venus.
"And what makes you think that? How would you even know about that anyways". Venus laughed lightly "oh Bella you're so innocent, it's common sense! He was shaking and I mean I think his eyes were like red, he probably got high before class. Was probably freaking out".
Venus shrugged her shoulders as they walked outside, the wind nipped away at her face. "Don't let it get you, it doesn't even matter Bella".
The girl nodded as they got into the truck "you're right, I was just overreacting is all, I'm sure it's a big misunderstanding and he's just... weird?".
"I wonder if he's one of those Cullens kids, I overheard a girl talking about them in gym class, they like moved here two years ago from Alaska".
Bella sighed "yeah Jessica told me about them, they're doctor cullens fosters kids, they mainly keep to themselves though".
Venus put her bag in between her feet as she yawned "I'm so taking a nap when we get home, and there's no way in hell! I'm eating your vegetarian food for dinner".
Bella huffed slightly "it's way more better for you, besides I'll endure making you a burger made from cow, just because if I don't cook for you. You'll starve all night".
"I can make myself food, I'm great at cooking" Bella looked at Venus with a stern look. "What!" the girl laughed as she parked the truck.
"You a good cook, yeah right! You can barely even make yourself a sandwich". Venus rolled her eyes as she got out of the truck "I hate when you're right" Bella laughed as they walked inside.
