I was laying on my bed, just thinking. Ethan was having a party tonight and I was definitely gonna be there. I mean how could I not, he was so awesome I couldn't pass up time with him. I decided to get ready for the party, as it was in a few hours.

We had been playing 7 minutes in heaven for a few rounds now and I was kinda getting excited about my turn. I guess it didn't matter who I was put in there with as long as I had fun. Although I did hope to pick a certain someone's name. Eventually, it was my turn to pick. I reached my hand into the bowl and shuffled around the papers. I grabbed onto one and pulled it out. I opened it up and my heart lit up when I read the name.

ETHAN

I read off the name out loud and looked up to my eyes meeting with Ethans. I smiled at him but he seemed to have a sad look on his face. Maybe he's just nervous. I thought to myself.  I stood up and Sarah led us to the closet. She closed the door behind us and I gave a smile to Ethan. He gave a weak smile back and looked down.

"You don't seem to be happy to be in here," I laughed

"Yeah well I was just really hoping to be in here with someone else," He sighed

"Oh," I said looking down

"Not that there's anything wrong with you!" He corrected, "It's just that... I have a huge crush on Sarah, if it wasn't obvious, and I was really hoping to get a moment with her in here,"

My heart shatter when I heard this.

"Well there goes any hope I had," I mumble out

"What?!" He asked looking up

"I've been waiting for this moment for a long time and now that I'm here it's ruined by Sarah," I say looking down

"Y/n, What do you mean?" He asked

"I've liked you for a long time now but for some reason you've never noticed me, It's always about Sarah with you. You like her so much but she doesn't like you back. Now I have a moment with you and it still circles back to Sarah somehow. I guess now I know how you feel."

Ethan POV:

I didn't know what to say, I was in shock. I've gone forever thinking that there's no girl that will actually like me, but I was so caught up in a girl that didn't care, that I missed a girl that did. Goddammit, how could I be so stupid? She must've caught onto the fact that I looked confused and continued.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have said all that, I'll get Sarah back over here to let us out if you want"

Before I could think I pressed my lips up against her's. I didn't care if this seemed crazy, I was in the moment and I never wanted it to end. I pulled away after a few seconds and smiled at her.

"I'm guessing this means you don't want me to call Sarah," she giggles

I smile at her before pulling her into another kiss. We stayed like that for a few moments before the door opened up, flooding the closet with light. Sarah stared at us in shock.

"Wow, ok I was not expecting that," she says awkwardly before walking off.

Y/n and I share a look while laughing with each other. I grab her hand and walk out of the closet with her.
