At the age of 4, my mother gave me a necklace, and it was unlike anything I had ever seen, it looked sort of like a heart, but it swirled in the middle. She told me to never, ever take the necklace off, or I would suffer severe consequences. She told she would guide me through what I was going to experience. Mind you, I was 4, so I just nodded, and agreed with my mother, because I hadn't known any better. What I was going through was a knew way of living for me, and my mother alike. For I now was property of my society. Little had I known that the necklace hanging from my neck, was just one half of a whole necklace, the other half is with the person I'm supposed to marry. I didn't know about this part until I was 10 years of age. As you could imagine I was quite upset, but at the same time, I felt comforted because I knew I was not going to be single my whole life. That is how America was abolished, no reproduction. So in order to ensure population, and love, you would be isolated until you met your spouse.

Now I was going to my test to ensure my compatibility with the owner of whoever owed the other half of this necklace.they did this part at age 17, they found that you keep about the same interests as you are 17, your whole life. Adalyn Rueclo. A lady with a very nasally high voice called my name to take the test. I got to the room, and It was very sterile, and white with one stool, and a table with a tablet of what seemed like medicine. It was orange, and next to it was a clear glass of what seemed like a blue mouth wash with orange specks in it. I had a feeling. Was was supposed to take in these two items, s soon a s I did, a laptops came up and played a message. Adalyn Rueclo, age 17, father: Robin Rueclo: status dead, mother: Cecilia Rueclo: status alive, widow. This was true, so I hit the "correct"button, and willed to not be true though. My father had died, he died because he worked for the society, and saw who my other half was, told me and tried to change it to a better person for me. Because of his actions of trying to help me, he was dead.
