Jungkook pov

"Son, we need to talk" i heard my dad say as he entered my room when i was reading a book.

I look up and slightly smile at him "sure dad, what is it?" i asked

"You canceled the ball??" he asked making me a bit nervous

"Uh, yea dad, my friends told me that it was a bad idea" then i told him the whole story hoping he'd understand since he's a stubborn person.

i heard him sighed and said "Look, son, maybe you should just marry someone from the royal, i know what you're gonna say, but, listen first okay? people from the royal blood are guaranteed to have manners and fine educations to rule any kingdom no matter from which kingdom they are from if you're afraid that the people from the village are gonna pretend to be nice and sweet in front of you when all they want is the throne and money" 

i frowned and said "Dad please just trust me in this okay? there are many people in the village who are nice, kind, and just as smart and educational as royals. Please don't force me, and give me a chance to prove you wrong" i begged him

he sighed but then smiled "Okay then, i really hope you find the right one. and i won't force you to marry someone you don't want" he pats my head and slowly walked outside my room

huh, i think i should go to the village again and see her

Jennie pov

I was walking around the woods wandering around picking up flowers I like and put them in my basket

I look around and saw a flower that caught my eyes, it's so beautiful, and it's one of my favorite colors, Yellow

i pick a few of them and put them in the basket, I smile happily and walk further more into the forest searching for more flowers

after a while, i decided to go back to the village since it was dusk already. when i arrived at my house i was surprised to see an unexpected guest

it was none other than my ex, Hyunwoo, one of the Knights of Azov

he was sitting in front of my parents as they all looked at me who just entered the house

"What are you doing here?!" i asked accidentally raising my voice

"Jennie, don't raise your voice" my dad said warning me

my mom smiled at me understanding and signaled me to sit down beside her, i followed and sat down glaring at him

"So, Hyunwoo, what is your business here?" my mom asked trying to sound as polite as ever since she knew what he did to her daughter

i was burning inside and got thirsty so i grab a cup of water that was already on the table and drank it

"I would like to propose your daughter Jennie, and take her hand in marriage" he said out of the blue which made me spit out my water

even both my parents are starstruck by what he said

my mom couldn't hold it anymore and raised her voice at him "HOW DARE YOU-" 

my dad tried calming down my mom as i stood up feeling too angry to even look at his face, so i ran outside the house 

WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?! THE AUDACITY HE HAS TO EVEN COME AND SHOW UP AT MY HOUSE! UGHH! HE RUINED MY WHOLE MOOD

"ughh STUPID! PIECE OF! TRASH! UGH!" every scream i let out was every time i hit the tree with my dad's axe he uses to cut wood

i kept hitting and hitting until the tree suddenly falls down and i stopped surprised seeing how hard i was on that tree

D-did i just...KILLED A TREE?! "OH MY GOD IM SO SORRY YOU POOR TREE" i said out loud and whined caressing the fallen tree 

suddenly i heard someone cracked a laugh from behind which made me look at the source and i was so surprised to see Sir Taehyung

wait- SIR TAEHYUNG?!

"S-sir Taehyung" i said and stood up immediately bowing

"No noo, please don't do that" he laughs looking at me silly "i wanted to visit you but, i saw you killing that tree over there shouting" he smiled showing his boxy smile again

i looked down in embarrassment wishing that this was all just a dream

i heard him chuckle and say "Don't worry, I'm sure the tree is okay with it, let's go in shall we? i brought all kinds of food for us to eat tonight" making me look up in surprised

"o-oh my, you didn't have to-" i said but got cut off by him saying "No, i want to" looking at me with a smile telling me that i can't stop him

i pouted and sigh giving up "Thank you tae...i mean- Sir Taehyung-" he laughs "No nooo please call me tae again" he whined begging me as i got flustered again

"hahahahh come now, these are heavy" he said signaling me to come inside the house

"NO WAIT!" i said which made him surprised furrow his eyebrows asking me why

"my ex is in there, he's a total and jerk, he even had the audacity to ask me to marry him UGHH!" i accidentally blurt out which made my eyes widen and smiled awkwardly at him

he stayed silent for a while but then suddenly asked "do you still like him?" which automatically made me say "OH HELL NO!" which made me look down in embarrassment again

he chuckled and said "alright then, let's just go in shall we? just pretend like he's not there and look anywhere else but him, or maybe...just look at me" he said in a flirtatious way which made me look down and blushed

he held my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine as i look up just to be met by his stare and sweet smile
