Chapter 20 : New Leaf

* Solana's POV *

I finally found a new apartment so I can move out of my parents house. They were getting annoying asking me about Tyler and the kids.

It seems as though he moved on too fast. Well, maybe I should play this game too. When I settled in my new home, I took a nice shower, washed my hair, put the kids to sleep, and now I'm just laying in my bed writing in my new diary that my mom gave me. Then my phone rang. It was the last person I thought about, unfortunately, Tyler.

What do you want?

I wanna see the kids in the weekend, can you bring them?

I'll see if we not doing anything, I signed Liyah up for dancing and her practice is on Saturday.

How about Sunday?

I don't know

I hope you not lying so I won't see my kids, Lana

Why would I?  And what so you care about them? I mean you got a new bitc- girlfriend

I slammed my phone on the floor and rubbed my eyes. I never knew separating could be this stressful. " Mommy, I don't feel good." Liyah croaked. I felt her forehead and she was burning up. "Baby, you got a fever. You gotta take some medicine."

" Noo, it's nasty!" She whined. I sighed and got up from my bed and into the bathroom to get the medicine from the cabinet. Then, I grabbed a spoon from the kitchen and poured the thick medicine on to it.

"Come here, Liyah and take the medicine." I grabbed her and held her down on the couch. You could say the medicine was that bad. I shoved the spoon in her mouth and made her swallow the thick, red, syrup."Now, was it that bad?" I asked laughing. She was laughing and crying at the same time. "Yes! It was nasty!"

"Sshh, before you wake up your little brother." I whispered kissing her forehead. " Mommy, can I sleep in your bed tonight? "

" Hell no, your sick." I replied pointing to the door. She rolled her eyes and went to her room.

" You better watch who you rolling your eyes at, before I have to knock yo ass out." She laughed and ran into her room. She think it's a game.

After Mason woke up in the middle of the night,  I fed him and then I got some sleep while I could.

It was 1:57 when Tyler black ass called me again.

Hello?!

Hey, what's up?

Nothing just sleeping, the fuck you call me at 2:00 in the morning?!

I just wanted to say, I love you he slurred. He's drunk.

Tyler shut the fuck up!!!

I hung up on him and set my phone on my dresser. I have to get him off my mind. I never thought that we would break up again, and really mean it.

The next day, Maya an Marcie came over to help me unpack the rest of my stuff.
"Did you and Tyler talk yet?" Maya asked sitting Liyah on her lap. " He called me last night and said he missed me." I replied.

" Do you miss him?" She asked. 

" No, I'm over him. He's obviously over me, so I gotta move on too. Shit, I can get another man just like him."

"How are you gonna explain that to the little one?"

" I'll just tell her that we don't love each other and that sometimes, grownups fall out of love with each other."

"Damn, you make it sound so easy."

" She's mature enough. For a two year old."

"Yeah I know what you mean."
 
It was an awkward silence, so I decided to change the subject.

" I wanna dye my hair red."

" Wait a minute, what?!" Maya said halfway screaming.

"I want a new man, so I need a new look first. Let's all go to the hairdresser and get massages, get our nails done. Let's go out to the club and have fun!" I screamed.

  So I got dressed, called a babysitter, and me and the girls called Cherish to meet us at the spa. When we got there, first we got a full body massage, then we got a facial, then got a french manicure and pedicure, and finally it was time for the hair.

After the lady was done, she turned me around in the chair, everybody gasped with big eyes and smiles.

" Solana, you look amazing!" Cherish said touching my hair. "Do you like it? " The lady asked. " I love it, I really like it!" She smiled and fluffed up my hair. " It looks very good on you, honey." I smiled and looked in the mirror one more time. I look sexy. I paid the lady, and we left to go to the mall. " Which dress should I buy? The blue or the white?" I asked holding both of the dresses. We were at my favorite boutique and they were expensive as fuck. " I like both of them. Buy them both." Marcie said laughing.  " Ehh, okay, but I need some heels too." I went over to the shoe section and there were all kinds of colors, sizes and designs. I wanted to buy them all. I picked out some light blue platform heels with diamonds all around the shoe. " That looks really nice." I heard somebody say to me. I looked up and saw Tyler's new girl. " Hii, I remember you.  Your Tyler's baby mother."

"Yeah, I am. " I said walking away. " Wait, wait! Like, do you still have feelings for him?" She asked tossing her hair back.         

"No... why does it concern you?"

"It doesn't. I was going to say, if you still do have feelings for you, he's over you." She said proudly smiling.

" Hey, are you done being a bitch?" Maya said walking up to her and pushing her out of the way.

"Wasn't nobody talking to you bitch!" Valerie pushed her back and I grabbed Maya and took her back to the dressing room to change back.

" What happened? " Marcia asked. "Nothing, let's just but these clothes and get our drink on."

We got back into our clothes, bought our new outfits  and flicked that bitch off and ran into the car. We having some fun tonight.
