38- The Second Task

"Oh, really! You're dating now?" asked Y/n the next morning seeing George and Hyacinth holding hands. "That's- nice."

"Hm, correct." said George kissing Hyacinth's head.

"Do you know where your brothers at? I haven't seen him all morning." said Y/n turning to Hyacinth, completely ignoring George.

"He's still asleep, didn't get much sleep. He was out all night with the Professors." said Hyacinth as Y/n nodded. Miles, Cassius and Adrian came walking down the hall, she quickly turned around and made a face.

"Well, I'm going to go and see him. Catch you later?" said Y/n nearly down the hall.

"Yeah!?" said Hyacinth turning to George who shrugged. Miles looked down as Adrian and Cassius turned to look at him. He shook his head and quickly caught up with her.

"Y/n, look i'm sorry about-"

"Shush!" said Y/n slapping his arm. "Look, it's fine, let's just act like it never happened."

"I can't do that." said Miles. Y/n's eye twitched as she turned to look at him. "Y/n, really, could you just forget that?"

"Miles, for merlins sake, no! For your own sake, don't tell nobody what happened, act like it never did." said Y/n. Miles look taken back as he watched Y/n quickly walk off.

"What is she going off about?" asked Adrian narrowing his eyebrows coming closer to Miles.

"Just Y/n things." said Miles placing his hands in his pocket and watching Y/n turned the corner. Adrian turned to look over his shoulder to see Hyacinth smiling with George.

It's been almost two months, Y/n and Miles haven't spoken one word to each other since. "You know what, I think i'm starting to get squishy." said Cassius poking his stomach.

"ME TOO!" said Adrian jumping up. Y/n rolled her eyes as she looked at the two boys. "It's from not having any training."

"I always invited you lot to train with me but you three never want to wake up." said Graham as Miles rolled his eyes.

"No one wants to be awake at four in the bloody morning, Graham." said Miles setting his silverware down.

"Merlin, what has been your problem lately?" asked Cassius narrowing his eyebrows. Miles shook his head as Y/n turned to look at him, the two made eye contact, and looked away.

Adrian and Cassius noticed it, the two both narrowing their eyebrows. "Y/n! Have you by any chance seen Hyacinth?!!" asked Cedric. Y/n turned, looked at the Hufflepuff table and narrowed her eyebrows.

"Actually, I haven't seen her since last night." said Y/n as Cedric made a face. "Why. . .?"

"Well, she was helping me with the task, helping me with a spell and I can't find her now!" said Cedric turning to look at Cassius who quickly looked down.

"Ah, you! Have you seen Hyacinth?" asked George coming down the hall with Fred. Cedric made a face and shook his head no as George narrowed his eyebrows.

"I was just going to ask you the same thing." said Cedric.

"She's probably passed out high somewhere." said Elizabeth sitting down next to Sunniva. Y/n's eye twitched, quickly turning to her. "I mean-"

"Keep talking or get your eyes plucked out with my wand, your choice ?" said Y/n raising her wand. Elizabeth rolled her eyes as Miles and Adrian turned back to look at the others.

"I'm sure she's just asleep or something. . ." said Adrian. George turned to look at him as Rolf came down to the table.

"Have you seen Hyacinth?" said George quickly.
