Chapter 14

Philip was sitting on the front seat of the car with Russia driving. It was finally the day that the Filipino had been waiting for.

"Hey,calm down."Russia told."You're being too excited."

"Sorry. I just can't wait to see my family,again."Philip replied,bouncing on the seat.

"Well,we'll get to see them,so relax."Russia said.

"That's pretty weird for YOU to say."Philip muttered.

"What do you mean?"Russia asked.

"I mean,you're about to meet my family,again."Philip explained."But this time,you're my boyfriend."

With that reminder,Russia's heart started to beat faster. Philip was right. Back then,he and Philip were just friends,now they're dating.

It got Russia feeling nervous to think about how Philip's family will react to their relationship.

"Russia,you're gonna hit that car if you keep driving like this."Philip said,snapping Russia back to reality.

"Oh,shoot!"Russia mumbled."Sorry about that."

"So,I'm guessing you're nervous NOW?"Philip asked.

"If you didn't mention what you said earlier,I wouldn't be nervous."Russia said.

"Mmm...Relax."Philip told.

Philip looked back out the window. He remembered the first time he arrived at Agalia,and the very unbearably awkward car ride.

"Hey,remember back then when you picked me up from the airport?"Philip asked.

"Yeah,I remember. How could I not forget?"Russia said,recalling the awkward moments they had a long time ago.

"Look,that's the airport!"Philip pointed to a building in the distance.

"Almost there."Russia said.

After parking the car,the two went to the airport to get Philip's family. Philip looked around,looking for his family.

Finally,at a gate,a man stepped out. He was wearing a hoodie and some jeans. He was followed by someone taller who wore a big coat and a couple.

"That's them!That's them!That's them!"Philip exclaimed,shaking Russia.

"Okay,okay,chill. Go ahead and greet them."Russia told while Philip kept shaking him.

"What?!No way!I'm too nervous."Philip murmured."Do I look good?Am I presentable enough?"

"Shouldn't I be the nervous one?"Russia said,pointing to himself.

"Yeah,you should be. Why am I nervous?"Philip asked.

Philip and Russia kept pushing each other,arguing over who has to greet Philip's family. Russia pushed Philip forward just when the person with the hoodie came.

"Philip!Hey!"Martial shouted,running towards his brother with open arms.

"No,no,no,no,no,no- Hey,kuya!"Philip greeted with a nervous smile.

Martial hugged Philip tightly. The hug calmed Philip down. Martial had this happy and sweet smile. But Russia remembered that he usually had this cold expression when they were kids.

"Oh,hey,Rus!"Martial greeted with the same smile.

"Hey..."Russia greeted back.

"Yo,Philip!"Del screamed."How have you been,little P?"

"Kuya,please quiet down. You're attracting too much attention."Philip whispered.

"Yeah,IDIOT. Shut up,will ya?"Martial mocked.
