The day of Woohyun's game approached, as did midterms. The midterms were set three weeks from the game. Most procrastinators, meaning Baekhyun, Sooyoung, Woohyun, and Taeyeon, were stubborn like mules and refused to study. "There's like THREE weeks left, umma!" -_- Even the narrator who had to follow their life story to narrate it got tired of this overused statement the week of the game. Woohyun was heavily stressing as Woona cheered him on.

Baekhyun was busy following his life ambition-- or what he believed was his ambition as a 7th grader. Skillfully, he got control of the car's steering wheel. He fled past the Lamborghini and waved at the audience. "1st place!" He yelled at the: video game screen. Yes, he was currently under the impression that his life ambition was now to be a race car driver. Which WOULD count as a legit dream, except he wanted to go into the video game.

Baekhyun, being a boy, hadn't minded THAT much when Woohyun mentioned he liked Woona as well. Because he thought this was only puppy love... how is it even important? Chances are I'll get over her... wow, I made such a big deal about liking her. I MUST stop watching those darned kdramas with my mom. Will this get serious?

But.... as many of us know, the heart wants what it wants. The brain might occasionally say it doesn't care, but the heart whispers the opposite.

The doorbell rang. "AMMA! THE DOOR!" yelled Baekhyun. His mother rushed down the stairs.

"Aiishhhhh. You're sitting right next to it! Why don't you open the d**n door? Eh?"

"Bleh," said Baekhyun, returning his focus back to the video game.

Mad, his mother pulled out the plug and huffed quickly to the door. She opened it right as Baekhyun was about to yell.

"MOOO-- oh hi!" Well played, mother, Baekhyun thought as the guest entered. He couldn't shout now.

Woohyun threw his jacket off on the floor and excitedly sat next to his best friend.

"HALLOOOOOOOO~" Woohyun mooed into his face.

"Bleh brother your breath stinks..." Baekhyun said, still fuming inside at his mother.

"You be jelly of my amazongness!"

"*sigh* See? No one even makes up stupid words like 'amazongness' like you do."

BaekhyunxWoohyun: *glare* *sudden laugh* *roll like a buffalo laughing* "HALLLOOOOOOOO!"

"Ugh dude the game's today. I've been stressing too much. I wanted to beg you to come watch me play for the first time at this new school! Baekhyun pleeeasee.... Also, can we like play a video game to get out of stress?" Woohyun asked.

Baekhyun sighed and said, "I'm the mature one aren't I?" He giggled inwardly as he knew he was joking.

"You?! Mature-ER than me?!

"*nod*"

"Dude screw you." Woohyun's attention turned back to the video game screen.

Or atleast his eyes did. His focus was still on one question he desperately wanted an answer for.

"About Woona..."

Woohyun felt his buddy's form tense up slightly at the mention.

"What about her?"

"I'm just curious as to why you let her go so quickly. I thought you would put up a fight..."

"Is that what you want?"

Woohyun was silenced as he thought about it. This game. It felt too easy. The video game seemed harder and the level was super easy.

"That might be what I want dude. Like I'd rather have the struggle and may the right guy win. I don't want to play tug of rope by myself. I want a strong opponent."

"I'm sorry. I don't think I even like her anymore. Like it was a silly crush. Dude we're in middle school. I don't think I was serious. If I do continue liking her in the future, I'll consider you my rival," Baekhyun said the biggest lie of his life. "Until then, let's play this!" He put in fake excitement that even the densest of dense people would get that it was fake.

Woohyun mentally facepalmed. He realized that his plan to get the two together wasn't working. That day when he knocked on Woona's door, he wanted to make Baekhyun jealous. He wanted to make Baekhyun realize how much he loved her and that he should make a move on her. But recently, his heart raced when he saw her too. It can't be.... I don't like her.... I CAN NOT like her.... I'd be the worst best friend in the world. This is Baekhyun's love story with Woona. Not mine.

Woohyun ran to school 30 minutes before the game. He had decided not to go to the training today because he was going to Baekhyun's house.

He saw a glimpse of Woona sitting on the benches before he slipped inside the school. Wow she's here already.

He changed into his football clothes. He kept waiting for a chance to go out and say hello to Woona and Baekhyun if they were there.

Woohyun asked to go to the bathroom, impatient now. He knew the game started soon and this had to be quick.

He ran fast to where he saw Woona and Baekhyun, chatting awkwardly. Atleast Baekhyun was awkward. Woona didn't seem to notice how he was actually being a dork.

"HALLO." Woohyun said loudly at the two, startling them.

"Ooooh Woohyun's all set! Fighting oppa!" Woona said, glowing; Baekhyun, on the other hand, merely half smiled.

"But guys. I really feel weird today. I dun want to play today," Woohyun said.

Woona's expression faltered. "Wait. But you're all ready. Just go out and play!"

"Easier said than done."

Baekhyun finally got the nerve to tell him to go. He knew Woohyun was kidding. "Dude seriously. You made me walk alllllll the way here to make me see you not play?" He asked jokingly.

Woona took Woohyun's playful statement seriously. "Okay then oppa. If you win this game, I will give you any wish. One wish and affordable please."

Naïve girls these days. It was obvious that Woohyun would ask her something impossible.
