"hey..jiyoung.." donghyuck said quietly as he approached jiyoung who sat alone. hyunjae was away due to sickness, giving donghyuck a chance.
"what do you want?" jiyoung asked coldly, not even glancing up at donghyuck.
"well uhhh...i remembered that it was your birthday a few weeks ago and uhm i just wanted to get you something..?" donghyuck said quietly, knowing fully well that she had a grudge against him - or so he thought.
"we're not even friends anymore. what do you really want?" jiyoung put her sandwich down, looking up at donghyuck who was scared of her presence.
"help me? there's this girl i like and she likes flowers but i don't know much about flowers."
"and what makes you think i know something about them?" jiyoung scoffed, turning away from the male.
deep down, jiyoung wanted to smile at the boy brightly the way she used to, but those days were far gone.
"because i know you used to like spider flowers or whatever they were called and you'd sometimes give mark and i flowers that mean friendship." donghyuck said in one breath, too afraid to get her reaction.
"sure but what's in it for me?"
"i'll buy you all the flowers in the world if i have to."
