The weekends. Not much to so really. All I thought of was; draw dumb pictures, pick my scabs and go to the skate park.
Dad (Mark): Wake up. I made breakfast.
Me (Avery): Ugh. Five more minutes.
Mark: Nope.
Me: Why? :/
Mark: We have a very special visitor coming! So get ready, and maybe hide your scars and plasters.
Me: Fine.
So I got up. Who exactly was this 'special visitor'. Whoever it was, I wasn't so excited to see them. I wore jeans to cover up the plasters on my legs and I used my sleeves to cover the unholy amount of plasters. I didn't really mind having that many plasters on. It showed character.
I ate my breakfast sleepily.
Me: So, who is the special visitor?
Mark: You'll see.
I hated it when people say that. Why can't they just straight up tell you the answer instead of saying you'll see.
Mark: Now, hurry up and eat your breakfast.
After eating, I put my dishes in the sink and went into the bathroom and took a quick wash.
Twenty minutes later
I heard a knock on the door.
Mark: She's here!
He opened the door.
Standing in front of me was a tall women. She was quite pretty I suppose. She didn't look bratty, but she didn't look that interesting thought.
Mark: This is Ivy.
Ivy: Hey!
She seemed quite energetic, this meant she was gonna be annoying.
Me: Uhh, hey.
She smiled at me.
Mark: This is my new girlfriend!
Me: 0-0
No. This can't be. My dad was better off alone.
Ivy: Hmm, how did you get those bruises?
I look down at my hand. Some of my plasters were showing.
Me: Skateboarding. I fell.
Ivy: Oh, did it hurt?
Me: Nah, not really.
Ivy: Interesting.
Mark: Anyways she staying over for dinner. Get ready Avery we are gonna go shopping.
Shopping. What happened to my dad!? We haven't gone shopping for ages. What I mean is we haven't gone shopping together for ages.
Me: Uh, sure.
I went into my bedroom and wore my ripped jeans and a baggy top.
Me: I'm ready.
Mark: Ok, let's go.
I could tell that this was gonna be awkward. I could also tell that Mark sounded a bit awkward. We jumped into the car. Ivy on the passenger seat, and I was at the back. Silence. No one talked. So I decided to break the silence by playing music. (The song was She's my collar by Gorillaz)
Ivy: Your a Gorillaz fan, I see. Me too!
Me: Yea,
Ok I admit it, she does seem cool. We arrived at the shopping centre.
Then I got a flashback. Me, mum and dad use to go here all the time, until they got divorced. This is probably the main reason why dad made us go to the shopping centre. I turned off my music. We got out of the car. This is still in progress, the rest of the chapter will come out soon, sorry :'(.
