Something strange

As soon as hope arrived to the farm she ran up to David and gave him the biggest hug ever, she never said anything to show but David is definitely her favourite. Hope exited their hug, stood up straight and looked David in the eyes and asked " you got any farmyard chores for me?" David bent down hands to his knees and said " actually I was about to go into the woods to get some timber, barns roof is leaking and the animals don't like it" happy to have an excuse for quality time with her grandfather hope excitedly agreed and they both went into the woods in search for the perfect tree to cut down.

As they were just about down they Botha heard a blood curdling scream then from to trees emerged a monster with massive bird like wings, horns, and blood red glowing eyes, what ever was David knew it wasn't good so he grabbed hopes hand and ran straight for the barn, however that beast was fast and strong, it cut off their paths and blew gusts of winds towards the two, in a defensive way hope put her hands in front of her face to stop the dust from going into her eyes a blast of magic shot from hopes hands, the magic was stronger then Emma's and reginas combined and it scared the beast off but not for long. Hope turned to see David's shocked face, he stood up, grabbed her hand, and they both ran as fast as possible, when they reached the barn they could see Emma's yellow bug pulling up to take hope home in time for dinner, they both ran up to Emma and told her what had happened, Emma looked surprised but also scared for the fear that the magic would be to strong for hope.
