25. Our Last Day

I didn't know it would be our last time together. When we were eating ramen, he was looking at me with his puppy eyes. I asked,

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Tch… you've become flirty more."

He got closer to me, started to cuddle me from the back. He muttered,

"Lemme go. I'll slice some fruit…"

I jumped up, went to the kitchen, I was slicing fruit, he was smiling. I couldn't take my eyes off him, he looked so handsome, 

"Ouch!!!"

My finger was cut off due to unconsciousness, Mingyu came towards me,

"Is it bleeding? Why are you so unconscious?"

"It's a little cut. I'm okay."

"But I'm not."

He grabbed my hand, he wiped my blood with his handkerchief.

"I'm glad, the cut isn't deep."

"It's deep."

"No. It's not! See!" I pointed my cut finger to him.

He softly held my finger and said,

"Be careful next time. Don't hurt yourself."

The look in his eyes made me emotional. His gaze led me to him. I touched his cheek with my hands and said,

"You really like me. I can see that"

"No. I don't like you….I love you." He placed his hands on my neck, and kissed me, we broke our soft kiss and he said,

"No matter what happens. I will always stay by your side. I love you."

I hugged him tightly.

It was 7 AM. As soon as I woke up I saw I was lying on his chest. His hand was under my head like a pillow. I groaned,

"Mingyu-a?"

He hugged me tighter without opening his eyes.
