Chapter fourteen

She looked so pretty. She looked super nice. Like she was perfect for Ryder. She let loose of me and I smiled at her.

"You're Dani right, Ryder has told me so much about you." She said

"Yeah I am. He told me about you but he never actually got to tell me your name." I said

"Well that's Ryder he is super forgetful. I'm Chloe."

"Wow It's so nice to actually meet you. From what Ryder said you sounded great."

"Really what has he been saying about me." She turned to Ryder and Ryder interrupted.

They talked for some time as I watched. How was Ryder able to get such a nice person. I mean I was kinda jealous but I was happy for Ryder at the same time and I didn't want to ruin this like I ruined his relationship with Kylie but Kylie was a bitch. Chloe is just an angel. I didn't want anything even me to come between her and Ryder. She then walked to me.

"You want to cook something?" She asked me with a smile on her face. I was scared that what happened with Kylie would happen but the instead it was the opposite.

"Actually I don't know how to cook." I said in shame but I had to say it. What happened with Kylie might have happened with her?

"Oh. Ryder didn't teach you how to cook. He is so selfish. Come on I'll teach you." She said grabbing my hand and taking me to the kitchen. She was getting the ingredients and I just watched her.

"Oh do you go to a different school because I haven't seen you around." I asked her

"Oh I just moved here from England." That explains the accent.

"Cool" I said lacking what to say.

"So where do we start?" I asked her since she looked like she had gotten the ingredients out. I actually learnt to cook something from her. She's much better at teaching than Ryder. When Ryder tried to teach me I almost burnt down the kitchen.

We brought what we had prepared and ate without Ryder since he didn't help us cook it. Well that was a heck of a day, we went to the amusement park and everything was great. Chloe was a really nice person I had given her my blessing.

We had dropped Chloe home and I had gotten her number so I could keep in touch.

"I can see you liked Chloe" Ryder said when we entered the door.

"Yeah I might even think of dumping you and making her my best friend." I joked around with Ryder.

"I was meaning to ask you something" I said to Ryder

"Yeah?" He said turning to me

"Is Chloe moving in?" I looked at Ryder nervously thinking that he knew where this conversation was going.

"Well it depends on if she wants to" He said sitting down

"Oh... I was... wondering if... I could.... Move in... with..." I couldn't even complete the sentence when Ryder stopped me. He knew where this conversation was going.

"Look I know what you're gonna say. I'll think about it" He said. He always meant to say no when he says I'll think about it.

"Please. Since Chloe is good enough to move in with you. It's no problem with me moving in. Chloe is a whole bunch of fun." I said in a pleading voice

"Okay" He said and I squealed and hugged him.

"But you should always tell me when something is wrong. I don't trust Derek... though we're friends I still don't trust him" He said sounding serious in a weird way.

"Look I have an extra phone on me. I promise that I'll call you when I need help okay?" I said and he agreed to it. Wait was this it? Was Ryder allowing me to move out of his apartment. This is just a miracle.

"When do I pack up?" I asked him

"Look you can get packing up when you want to. You can go tomorrow since it's a Sunday" He said and I squealed about it. I don't know why but I had a bad feeling about this. I thought that maybe it was just because I had gotten used to this place and I was just going to miss it. I felt like I was abandoning Ryder or something like that.

"I promise that even though we get older I'll never ever leave you" I said and hugged him. I began crying. I don't even know why I said that but it was just sad. Maybe it was just because I had read a lot of books like that. Best friends just slip away from each other slowly by slowly and I didn't want that to happen with me and Ryder. Ryder was the most important person to me and I didn't want to lose him but I still wanted to move in with Derek. I had to do what I had to do.
