Chapter three

Me and Ryder continued walking to school. We reached there and headed to our lockers I had this strange idea of us sharing our lockers. "Ryder I've kinda had this idea of us sharing our lockers" I don't know why I even said it. "yeah I think it would be great" He said I can't believe he agreed with that I know that I just have a crush on him and that's why I'm thinking about this but I think he also likes me too.

"So after lunch I'll move in to your locker" he said and smirked "Umm no you wont get space because of my stuffed animals" I said and opened my locker to show him "Why do you even have those? To talk to them about your 'true love'" He said and hit my hand playfully I put my hands on my eyes to make it seem like I was crying. "No I didn't mean it "he said as he came closer.

I quickly pinched him. "Ouch" he said "you know I'm not that kind of girly girls who talk about love and cry all the time " I said "well then why do you have those stuffed animals" he said "There not mine they are for Elle she doesn't have space in her locker" I said as I closed the locker "Wow I didn't know Elle had a heart " he said "I know its weird knowing it" I said. We headed to drama class I was great at it the teacher always praised me. We reached there "Oh good your finally here" the teacher said "We couldn't find the perfect role for Juliet" He said walking to me "We're doing Romeo and Juliet?" I asked "Yeah and maybe he could do Romeo he's perfect" He said pointing at Ryder "Oh you mean me I'm not good at acting" he said "Just give it a try you'll be great" the teacher said "Well okay" He said.

We both walked to the stage and tried out the roles "Cut" the teacher shouted I thought he was going to complain "You too are perfect for the role" he said "Why don't you e a couple in real life?" he said "Oh no We're just best friends" I replied "Yeah just friends" Ryder said looking sad I started raising my suspicions of him liking me back because why would he look sad because of that.

The lesson ended and I went to the chemistry lab for the lesson. I found the new guy in the class "What are you doing here Mr. Tardy" I said

"The teacher ended my lesson early what are you doing here " He said emphasising on the you part

"My lesson's done" I said headed to my seat " I actually never got to know your name" I said

"It's Derek Derek Greene" He said

"Is it Derek spelled D-E-R-E-K or D-E-R-R-I-C-K"I said

"It's D-E-R-E-K" he said

"I like the other one better it's my best friend's middle name" I said

"Well I think this is better" he said

"Oh come on its totally the other one which is better" I said "you know what never mind I don't wanna argue with assholes like you" I said and he rolled his eyes I don't know what was wrong with me I just got one of the chemicals and poured it on his shirt

"Oh my God I'm so sorry" I said sounding sarcastic

"Why did you even do that" He said

"Well I only do that to annoying people" I said and the teacher came in

"What have you people done" she said

"It was-" Derek tried to say but the teacher stopped him

"You know what I don't wanna ear it detention today" she said
