Beach day?

They woke up first. Bakugo was still sleeping on their right with his hands and legs wrapped around his friends, Kirishima on their left, laying on his tummy and using Rumi's shoulder as pillow.
Bakugo huffed, and Rumi turned to look at him. - Uh? You're awake?- his voice was raspy and low, still drowsy. - Did you just lay there staring at me?-
- What? No!- Rumi whispered, trying not to wake Kirishima up.
He arched his back, stretching his shoulder without moving arms and legs. -How long have you been awake, uh?-
- I just woke up.-
- Must be because of this bastard snoring.-
Kirishima had just some heavy breathing when he was relaxed, but Rumi wouldn't have stretched it to a snoring.
- Ehi, Shitty Hair, wake the hell up! You're loud.-
How in the world could Bakugo be so loud at 6.45 in the morning?
- Oi! Kirishima! Wake up or I'm gonna kick you!-
Rumi didn't have the time to react, to try and stop their friend from hitting the other. Kiri whined in pain, waking up. - Oh? What? Oh...- he slowly realised what happened. - Morning to you too, Bakugo. Jeez...-
Bakugo just snorted.
- Did you sleep well, roomie?-
Rumi nodded. They didn't have the courage to actually tell how they spent the night listening to their breaths and their weight shifting and moving around. They had fallen out of exhaustion, and just two hours before.
- I slept like a rock!-
- It's cause you are one, bumbass!-
- Well, you're not wrong, I guess...-
Bakugo stretched his shoulders again, and murmured that he was hungry.
Kirishima shifted on his side, letting his hair fall on his face and using his elbow to balance his weight on the mattress. Rumi still hadn't move a bit.
- Ehi, you guys wanna go to the café and get some free breakfast? I heard it's an "all you can eat"...- he smiled wide, and Rumi had to restrain themselves from trying to touch his pointy teeth.
Bakugo ruffled his hair. - Yeah, let me get dressed first.-
- Yeah, same. You can have the bathroom, Rumi.-
They still couldn't move. It was like a weight was pressing on their legs.
- I'm changing here with Bakugo. It's not like I haven't seen...-
- Would you shut up? Why do you have to make everything sound so weird?-
- Sorry, I didn't mean it in a weird way or anything, I meant like changing room and stuff...-
- Yeah, yeah. Get up and get ready so we can go eat.-
- I would.- grinned Kirishima next to Rumi's ear. - But you have your leg over both of us, Bakubro.-
Oh, that's what it was, was Rumi's first thought. And then it hit: Bakugo's leg was over them, his hips slightly pressed on theirs. And in a moment they were painfully aware of how close Kirishima's face was to their face, and how both of their friends could just tickle their neck with their breath. They had to get out of there, right now, real quick.
- Shut up.-
- Eh, all right. Let's get dressed then.-
Rumi propelled themselves out of the bed, run to get whatever ended up in their hands from the suitcase and vanished in the bathroom.
Finally, some peace. They washed their face, and splashed their white hair so it would look at least safely clean. They put on a white top and some weird coloured cargo shorts. Well, could've been worse.
From the room, they heard Kirishima ask if Bakugo was really cold the night before, suggesting he was just asking for cuddles, and the other confirmed it was just cold. Rumi could hear the embarrassment in Kacchan's voice. Poor guy, still emotionally constipated as always.
They opened the door, a little more relaxed than before.
- You ready? Ok, let's go. I need food.-
- Alright.- Kiri sounded energetic. - I hope they have bacon.- he continued, walking down the hallway. - Or pancakes, or muffins. You know, those really sweet ones with the blueberries?-
Rumi couldn't still talk, they needed coffee before actually connecting their brain enough for a conversation.
Bakugo snorted. - You mean blueberry muffins?-
- Yeah, those!-
The blonde guy laughed. - Man, you're an idiot sometimes!-
- Come on! I just forgot!-
Rumi tried to get involved, but kept dozing off and losing track of whatever topic the other two were on.
- You know, you sound like today you're in a good mood, Bakugo...-
- Uh? I'm always in a good mood Shitty Hair.-
- Yeah, totally.-
The café wasn't really small. It was a huge room, with big glass doors open on the beach, and full of tables. In the middle, the buffet was towering everything. There were not many people, as it was still 7 a.m., so too early when you're on vacation.
Kirishima's eyes were sparkly, and even Bakugo looked a little impressed. Not that he was going to show it, but Rumi could see it.
- Wooow! Look at the buffet. So much food! I'm gonna need two plates!-
- Looks like we're the only ones from our class up this early.-
- Eh, means more food for us!-
- Dumbass! There's a literal mountain of food, not even you could put a dent on it!-
- Don't tempt me!-
- Yeah yeah, just save some for the rest of us...-
Rumi moved to the bar, asking for coffee, and overheard Kiri talking about having five or six pancakes while marching to the food. Bakugo followed him in silence, glaring at him with judgmental eyes.
They must've looked lost, since the lady that was serving them told them to try the eggs, if they weren't sure about their breakfast.
They politely thanked her and walked to their friends with the piping hot mug.
I should actually get the eggs.
- Ohoh! Look! They actually have blueberry muffins!-
- Where's the sriracha?- murmured Bakugo.
- Mh?-
- The what?-
- The sriracha sauce!-
Rumi couldn't really believe it. I mean, spicy food was Bakugo's favourite, but having it for breakfast was too much even for him. Not that they'd ever found what was great about spice, anyway, so they weren't really in a good place to speak. Still...
- You're gonna put hot sauce on your breakfast?- Kirishima was as incredulous as Rumi was. - Good way to wake up, I guess... I think it's over there with the other toppings.-
Bakugo turned his back, and went back in his search for the spice.
Kirishima looked at Rumi. - So, roomie, got everything you wanted? Let's go find a place to sit. Oh, look, over there there's a table next to the window. Let's go, Bakugo will catch up!-
The only thing Rumi could think of was how could he be so lively that early in the morning. Then it occurred to them that he actually got some nice sleep instead of gay panicking through the night.
They put down their plates, and started eating. Rumi downed the coffee in one go.
- So...- started the redhead. - Until the Gala happens, Aizawa said we're pretty much allowed to do whatever, as long as we stay closed to the hotel. Do you have anything you wanted to do during the vacation?-
- I've heard about the Heroes' Expo, that should be fun. I think they have a duplicate of Shimura's costume, and some copies of old heroes movies' flyers I wanna see... what about you?-
- I mean, I'm just excited to be able to just relax, honestly. This hotel is suuper nice. I mean, just look at the beach over there. Maybe we should have a beach day...-
- Oh, good morning!- Midoriya had entered in the building from the glass door. His hair was a little ruffled by the breeze.
- Hi, Midoriya.- Rumi waved.
- Midoriya, ehi. You're up early. Where's Todoroki? Still sleeping?-
- Yeah, he is still sleeping.-
- Oh, ok. Wanna sit with us?-
The boy looked embarrassed. - Oh, I'm on my way back up to my room, actually.- he brushed his neck with his hand. - I stumbled across this really cool spot on the beach earlier... it's kinda like a secret oasis, with a little waterfall and everything.-
- Woah, for real?-
Rumi opened their eyes wide open. That was cool, a day at the beach in that oasis sounded all of a sudden very tempting... at least, more than the Expo...
- You must've gotten up pretty early to go find that out. Where is it? I totally wanna see it!-
- Oh, when you step outside of the resort, just turn left and keep walking up the beach. It's at the very end, you just have to walk through the trees a little, you'll see...-
- Oh cool, thanks Midoriya!-
- The hell is this stupid nerd doing here?- Bakugo announced himself, banging his plate on the table.
- Be nice!-
- He was just telling us about this cool, little place he found. We should check it out, Bakugo.-
- Ah? Why?-
- It's really cool! Trust me, Bakugo, you guys will love it! Anyway, I gotta get back to my room, see you guys.-
- Ok, bye man.-
Rumi waved again, putting a fork full of scrambled egg in their mouth. Bakugo whispered something they didn't really catch, but Kirishima did.
- Weird? What's weird?-
- Forget it.- he pinched the fork on his breakfast. - So, what's that idiot talking about anyway?-
- Oh, he said that there is this secret oasis on the beach. I'm so curious, we should definitely go see it.-
- Yeah, I'm kinda curious, too...-
- I mean, why?- Kacchan was being definitely too careful with his words.
- Why not, man? By the way he described it...- and he took a bite. - it sounds pretty neat.-
Everyone concentrated on their stuff, but the silence was tensed. Rumi looked at Kirishima, who returned the worried sight. Something was up.
- You ok Bakubro? You seem a little off ever since... well, I know Midoriya seems to get on your nerves, but usually a run into him doesn't really leave you in that bad of a mood.-
Bakugo just avoided their eyes, locking them on his... whatever that was, covered in sriracha. - I'm fine, what the hell you mean?-
- Oh, ok.- it was probably best to leave it be, for now. Kirishima must've thought the same. - Ehi, Rumi! Have you tried the pancakes? They're so fluffy!-
Rumi smiled. - They look fluffy, indeed. But I am stuffed, I'll try them tomorrow.-
- Oh, I definitely got more food than I can handle! I'm stuffed!-
- You eat too fast.- commented Kacchan.
- Nah, I didn't eat that fast!-
- You literally inhaled five pancakes, dumbass!-
- I know, but they were too good!-
- Whatever.-
Kirishima gathered his plates, and got up. - So, I'm gonna go grab our bathing suits from the room, if you guys wanna finish your food. That way we can head to the beach right after eating. Sounds good?-
Everyone nodded. - I'll be quick!- and he jogged off.
Rumi looked at the beach, that was slowly gathering some groups of people and children. The waves were somehow soothing.
- Are you done eating too? Damn, I feel slow around you idiots.-
- Sorry, I was just... looking at the beach makes me think about stuff...-
Bakugo nodded, understanding. - I haven't been at the beach in a while. I guess it's gonna be nice to just... relax.-
- Relaxing is fun. Come on.- Rumi patted his shoulder.
- I don't like having nothing to do all day. But taking some time off sometimes is cool, I guess. I can't remember the last time I even got to go swimming.-
- Well, we can go today...-
Rumi tried their hardest to not think about their best friends all splashed, with their hair wet and smiling in the sun. What was wrong with them? They weren't usually that horny!
- Rumi?-
- What?-
- I asked if you're planning on going to the Hero Gala.-
- Y... yeah...- they felt their cheeks flare up.
- Oh, of course you are. Like I said before,- and he stretched his back on the seatback.- I don't really like parties. But I know for a fact that Kirishima's gonna make me go with you two. That damn idiot doesn't take no for an answer.-
Rumi moved, uncomfortable.
- It's gonna be fine, I guess. It's not like I care to see the other Pro Heroes, I'm gonna surpass them anyway.-
Rumi giggled. Of course... normal Bakugo bullshit.
- Anyway, I'm gonna put these plates back. I'll be back.- he got up and off he was.
Rumi was alone at the table. They glanced again at the beach, feeling their eyes heavy and tired. I kid fell on the sand, and his brother, Rumi thought, since they looked quite similar, kept laughing at him. Their mother yelled at them, and the people around started making annoyed faces.
- All right.- Rumi flinched, as they didn't really hear Bakugo coming back. - I see Kirishima coming back. Come on, get up.-
The redhead run to them. - Ehi! All of our stuff is in this bag. I also brought some sunscreen...-
Rumi stopped listening again, checking on the family from before, who had now left their stuff to run in the water. It felt strange, at 8 a.m., but people are weird.
Their friends walked away, and they had to speedwalk to catch up.
