Heejin's POV
Bitch, where the fuck is my girlfriend?
She said she's going to work the other day and up until now she's still not coming home. I'm freaking out for real. It's been almost 4 days that she's not coming back to me.
Right now, I'm jogging towards Haseul-unnie's home to ask her if Hyun is there cuz the others said no and they're on their way also to Haseul-unnie's. I tried calling Haseul-unnie again, but still, she's not answering just like Hyunjin.
"Heejin-ah!" I heard someone shouted my name so I turned around and see Sooyoung-unnie, Kahei-unnie, Jinsol-unnie and Jiwoo-unnie running towards me.
"Still no news about Hyunjin?" they asked, obviously worried. I know that they're also freaking out. It's just the ten of us now, we can't lose another one.
I shake my head and they all sighed.
"C'mon let's go to Haseul" Kahei-unnie said and we all hurried there. Their helper opened the door for us and the other girls welcomed us.
"She's not here" Hyeju said and fuck it. Where the hell is she?
I dialed her number again, but still no answer. What the fuck Kim Hyunjin?
"Hey, hey, calm down, alright? We're gonna find her" Jinsol-unnie said, patting my back, trying to calm me down.
I swear I'm gonna cry if she don't show up in ten minutes.
"What did she tell you before she went missing?" Hyeju asked
"She said she's just gonna go to her work" I said, my tears forming at the corner of my eyes.
"Let's go to the convenience store she's working at" Chae said
"I already did" I said, I always go there whenever it's Hyunjin's shift, but I didn't see her there even once.
"She's not there" I said
"That kid" Kahei-unnie said, brushing her hair up.
"Where the hell could she be?" Jungeun-unnie asks herself as she think.
Hyeju suddenly got up from the couch and gather her things before running towards the front door.
"I'll try to find her!" she shouted before exiting the house.
"She's probably going to the skate park they usually go" Chaewon said
"Let's go to Han River" Jiwoo-unnie said
"She often goes there whenever she needs time to think" she added and we agreed.
3rd person's POV
The girls went to the said place and scattered around, hoping that they'll find Hyunjin the soonest.
The longer Heejin don't see Hyunjin, the deeper her thoughts go. What if something happened to Hyunjin? What if- shit what if she-
"Heej, did you see her?" Haseul interrupted her thoughts. She shakes her head and Haseul pulled her into a comforting hug.
"Don't worry, we'll find her. We won't give up until we see her" the older said, caressing the younger's back.
"Guys, I saw no Hyunjin" Sooyoung said
"Me too" Kahei said, panting, just came back from the area she searched.
"Same here" Jungeun said, wiping off her sweat.
Hyeju came running to them and they were disappointed to see no Hyunjin following behind her.
"She's not there" Hyeju said while catching her breath.
"I didn't see her" she added, turning her head to the sister of hers.
"Unnie, let's talk" she said, pulling Heejin few meters away from the others.
"Do you think she's doing a... a crime again?" Hyeju whispered the last part.
"What do you mean?" Heejin acted dumb
"Don't act clueless, unnie. I know what she's doing as well as you. I know what you guys just did last last week" Hyeju said, making Heejin furrow her eyebrows in confusion.
"How?" Heejin asked
"I actually sensed that those four killed Yeojin. I talked to Hyunjin-unnie about it and we were thinking the same so she told me her plan" Hyeju briefly explained
"And she didn't tell me that you know?" Heejin said, she can't believe that Hyunjin didn't tell her about Hyeju knowing something about their doings.
"That's not the issue right now, unnie. Dad hired someone to stalk you and maybe Hyunjin-unnie too-"
"And you didn't tell me????"
"I told Hyunjin-unnie... She didn't tell you?"
"No. That girl-"
"Worry about that later and let me finish what I wanna say, Heejin-unnie" Hyeju said
Heejin nods, signalling her to continue.
"She can't be doing some stuffs right now, unnie. She'll be in danger. Once dad knew about this, he'll do everything to separate the two of you and maybe put Hyunjin-unnie in jail" Hyeju told Heejin
"Shit. We need to find her quickly" Heejin said, stress showing in her face. Hyeju's right, her father will probably do that if Hyunjin got caught.
"Is it just you who knows about our secret?" Heejin asked her little sister.
"Yeah, do you think they'll tolerate the two of you if they knew?" Hyeju said
"Don't you fucking dare tell anyone even Chaewon" Heejin said
"Do you think I'll put you in danger? Do you think Hyunjin-unnie will tell me about it if I'm not trustworthy enough? You should know that your girlfriend's trust is so difficult to earn. Trust me, I'll keep your secrets safe. I can never betray you, unnie, because you're the only family I have"
Heejin looks at Hyeju and see nothing but sincerity in the younger's eyes.
Hyeju never really had a happy family just like what Heejin expected. It seems like her parents are just raising her to live up to their expectations. Dictating everything that they want her to do like she's a fucking robot. Your parents calling you disappointment and failure isn't happy. It's not.
She just wanted someone to care about her. Someone she can call a family. Family that actually cares for you, will care about how you feel, will support you in everything, someone that can show her the love that she never felt from her so called family.
"Let's go and find Hyunjin-unnie, unnie"
Heejin breaks out a smile and mess Hyeju's hair a bit.
"Let's go"
