A MUG AND A T-SHIRT

Chapter 2

I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock I immediately sat up,switched it off and grabbed my phone from the dresser right next to my Queen sized bed
'Holy shit it's 6:30'
I jumped out of bed and into the shower and was out in less than two minutes I opened up my wardrobe and began to think about what to wear then I picked out a white top, denim ripped jeans , a plaid shirt in case it got chilly and a pair of black vans to go with it I grabbed my bag and ran out of my room. I tried my best to avoid my mum so she wouldn't force me to eat anything I went to the driveway where my black Land Rover was parked
,hopped in and drove as quickly as I could
I got to school and found Gabriella's pink convertible parked in my spot right next to Tommy's car ok sure we aren't together anymore but that's my parking spot,I felt my heart crumble I had to drive around the parking lot so I could find a space and luckily I did
By the time I had gotten to my locker the 1st period bell had just been rung and I couldn't help but let out a low groan, I grabbed by books and walked into class and based on how my luck has been going how am I even surprised that the only free sit was right beside Tommy half of the period had hardly gone by before Tommy called my attention and passed me a paper I opened it up and it was a breakup letter ,I ran out of class in tears to the front of my locker where I just sat and tried to figure out why this was all happening to me when I looked beside me and saw a pair a white sneakers I looked up and it was a kid from my home room
'Hey Eric'
'Something wrong Lora? '
I told him what happened you might be wondering why ,I figured since Gabriella is involved in this the entire school would find out by the end of the week I just really wanted one person to know my side of the story before Gabriella got the chance to twist it . Eric had always been nice to me I never really knew why and I don't think I really want to know I've never had a real friend I can tell stuff so I'd like to enjoy this while it lasts and I have a sad feeling it's not going to be long.
Eric pulled me up and with an excited expression said
'How 'bout we go to King burger '
' you mean like after school'
'No like now'
' like sneak out of school , I've never done that before'
'Then let's go'
Before I even got the chance to reply he had pulled out of the school doors and to his car we both hopped in and he drove off it didn't take too long before we got there
...
We got back to school just in time for 6th period . Eric and I had a lot of fun he seemed really nice but like all high school guys there had to be a catch he couldn't have just decided to be nice for no reason
'Thanks for all this but what's the catch'
'What do you mean?'
'Guys don't usually do stuff like this for girls like me without trying to get in their pants'
'So a guy can't decide to be nice without wanting to get in a girls pants I don't think that's true but I should let you know I'm gay'
