Chapter 39

Reader POV

The next day the officers and Dan came back to give us the good news that Kana has been caught , she tried to flee the country but got caught in the end then they said they are going to interview her later and asked if i wanted to come down which of course i said yes . I need a word with her too . 

I told the guys to go home and shower while i followed the police to the station that she was detained in 

At the Station . .  .

The officers just told me to sit behind the glass panel and hear the entire conversation that is going to happen and Donovan even came what a surprise . I sat there and tap the chair beside me letting him sit beside me . 

Me: Pleasant seeing you Donovan

Donovan: Sorry that you got hurt. 

Me: It's fine , glad you and Eugene are safe. 

Dan entered the interrogation room and threw the file onto the table and took a seat in front of Kana, her face was just pure guilt and kept on looking down on the table not wanting to look at Dan. She's purely guilty and evidence against her is all there okay okay their finally talking. 

Dan: So, what happened hours before the wedding?

Kana: Nothing happened... 

Dan: Is that so ? Don't lie, there is more than enough evidence to put you in jail . 

Kana: I didn't do anything.

Dan: Lets start from the top, hours before the wedding what happened! 

Seems like she wouldn't budge at all ... keeping it all to herself even if she admits now she could get a lighter sentence why isn't she talking... I looked over at Donovan to see him in pure anger towards Kana this isn't good ... what happened hours before the wedding though ? am quite curious myself... was it after they reunited Donovan went to see Kana and told her everything is off and she became crazy?

Kana: Donovan came to see me... at the hotel and he said he will call off the wedding when everyone has arrived i got shocked and asked if it was another women, he said no but a man i asked is it (Y/N) doing he said no but i know the 3 of them are very close during school days. 

Dan: So you slashed Donovan , he fled out of the room then what happened?

Kana: When i knew everyone invited to the wedding has already arrived i could not go out to tell them myself and just as when i was already late i told one of the bridesmaid to call (Y/N) up to my room , when she came i stabbed her and ran for my life. 

Mean while behind the glass . . . 

Donovan: Didn't know she had this mindset to kill. 

Me: Everyone has the ability to kill , it all depends on how you deal with it. For her case the pressure from you , the wedding , the media got to her very quickly . Im going in to talk to her 

I knocked on the door and entered the room and sat beside Dan and looked at her in the eye and sighed , lifted up my top halfway to show her to wound she caused me . She looked at it and looked back down at the table again .

Me: I never hated you . 

Kana lifted up her head to look at me. 

Me: I only treated you rudely cause you are stubborn , childish & immature. Someone not worthy to be my best friend, it's all part of growing up that we lose a few people every year its normal, i was on the brink of walking out of yours and i know we used to be very close but i've never imagined you stabbing me on the day you are getting married. I never regretted being your friend but you've pushed it too far, you knew Donovan is BI , Eugene and him were meant to be together why force it on Donovan's parents. I know you are jealous of what Donovan and i had perviously and currently Eugene. 

Kana: i'm sorry , I AM REALLY SORRY! (Y/N L/N)! i didn't mean to stab you ! i was not thinking straight! im jealous of your life, you have it all. The Fans, money , fame , family , lover and friends. 

Me: Kana... i was never happy under the spotlight... the money i earned half went to charity , Family are for life as for friends you have to choose wisely as for lover, i am thankful for him loving me at my best and worst for who i am ... thats all i have honestly didn't want the fame but as captain sorry ex - captain of the (O/C) volleyball team do i have a choice?

Sigh.......

Me: You don't have to answer me, serve your time well , reflect and change over a new leaf alright.

i stood up and walked out of the door and back to behind the glass there i opened the door to Donovan looked at me with tears in his eyes and got down on his knees and started apologising as well. 

Me: Stand up , i need not forgive you but i wish you well too. Enjoy your new life with Eugene send my regards as well . Dan! i'll be going back to the hospital thank you for your time . 

I left the room and booked a cab back to the hospital and into my suite i entered the room to 4 angry guys standing around the room , i casually walked in and changed back into my hospital clothes and got into bed and charged towards me straight away. 

Meian: (Y/N)! WHERE DID YOU GO! 

Barnes: You are suppose to be on Bed red

Atsumu: I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!

Sakusa: Seriously Miya?

Me: guys I'm safe thats all it matters. i went to the station thats all uhm, hang on let me answer this. 

Answers the phone. 

Oikawa: (Y/N) CHAN! 

Me; yes trash?

Oikawa: You meanie! I HEARD FROM KUROO YOU GOT HURT! 

Me: Yeah about that , we'll be flying in a little later than expected. 

Oikawa: alright , i'll let my coach know , rest well! i wanna set for you when you come over! 

Me: Yeah yeah ... 

Ends the call . 

Atsumu: So I'm guessing that we are not going to Brazil ? 

Me: We are still going just a week later , don't worry. 

Sakusa: Is that all you care about Miya?

Atsumu: NANI! you can say that OMI KUN! 

Me: That conversation needs to go . 

Everyone laughed it off and awhile later Kuroo and the rest brought us food and ate it together laughed and played some video games together good thing Kenma brought the switch over with the extra remotes as well . The doctor came in and checked on my wounds and said i'm clear to go home just need to remove the stitched next week mean time not suppose to do anything vigorous and yeah everyone was so happy i get to go home tomorrow all of them decided to stay over which was rather uncomfortable. 

Bokuto and Akaashi are on my left , Kuroo and kenma on my right and yup i am SMACK IN THE CENTER!  the rest of them were on the sofa , cant believe I'm going ahead with this plan , even going to the toilet is a disaster... Kuroo had to carry me to the toilet because kenma wouldn't move and Bokuto is squeezing Akaashi to death only Kuroo i can wake him up , 

But morning came really quickly and i rushed to the shower and changed into clothes Kuroo brought from home and woke everyone up and checked out of the hospital and went home !~
