Hey! A trigger warning will be in effect.

This chapter would involve attempted kidnapping which some readers may find triggering and unsettling. Although it will only be for a brief part of the chapter.

Thank you!

Out of embarrassment, the two waited for the music and the party below them to die down. Neither of them planning to be seen by sober individuals. As time passed they learned more about each other.

Sunghoon is a figure skater and was currently taking English language as a major. Sunoo on the other hand stated that he is taking Entrepreneurship. Both of them had already moved in to their dorms. Sunoo got the whole room for himself while Sunghoon got a roommate that was just about to arrive soon.

They continued to chat, only deciding to stop when the crowd went silent.

When they thought no one would recognize nor notice them they descended the stairs. No noises were maid, only the soft sound of their soles hitting the carpeted stairs.

They went for the exit avoiding drunk visitors that are roaming the house mindlessly. When they got out, a deep breath was made with a satisfying sigh of relief to follow.

While walking back to the campus Sunoo asked Sunghoon. "What would you do if the tarots were right?"

"Don't be silly. No one would love me." Sunghoon answered, then laughed. The other took it as a joke and laughed with him.

It was only another cross road when they stopped.

"Well, my dorm is this way." Sunoo told Sunghoon while pointing at a distant building.

"Oh okay, mine is not that far either." Sunghoon said. But no, his dorm is indeed far from here. He just don't want to bother the other person.

Sunoo smiled and waved goodbye to his new friend. "Take care hyung!". Sunghoon waved back and started walking again.

He made a right turn at the next corner. Then left at the next.

"What the f*ck?" Sunghoon was confused. He was indeed sober as he spent the night with Sunoo upstairs where there are no alcohols or partying.

Panic crept up once again when he realized the truth.

He's lost.

This can't be happening it's past midnight.

He kept walking. No, he sprinted. Fearing that there is someone behind him. Ready to pounce any minute. The road was dark, only lit up by the moon and street lights that are quite far from each other.

He should've stayed with Sunoo instead.

Finally he made a left, and saw a park. A well-lit one. He decided to go inside.

There he started to calm down. He swiped sweat off his forehead, then rubbed his arms in the sides of his shirt to wipe the sweat there. He is so sweaty from running.

He sat down at a bench and rest a bit before looking around him. When he sees no threat he pulled out his phone to check the time.

It's already 2 am.

Well, literally it was Sunoo's fault that he is here. Wait, Sunoo. The tarot reading. Sunghoon suddenly felt uneasy, he remembered pulling the death card. What if Sunoo interpreted it wrong and he was about to die.

Sunghoon slapped himself lightly. 'You don't believe in those, don't scare yourself.' He quickly opened a cab app, hoping that there is still an available cab for him to go home.

'Sorry no cabs available at this moment. Try again later.'

Sunghoon cursed under his breath. Well, he needs to walk, or run rather, home.

He opened the Maps app and entered his dorm's address. Sunghoon then looked around for street signs near him, unfortunately the only street sign near him is the one outside the park.

Scared, but without options, Sunghoon stood up, knees shaking. He slowly approached the park's gate, squinting his eyes to make out the blurred street sign across the street.

'J'

It was J st. he opened the phone once again and typed in 'J st. Near park'. He was shaking as he waited for the map to load. Seconds pass by, but for Sunghoon, it was hours.

When it finished, he quickly analyzed the map. It shows that it was actually near, just two more rights, then left and then the building should be there. He forgot that there is also a siri-like voice that announces the instruction when he used it. He was startled.

"J... Park.... Is near- J.... Park.... Is near-" It's glitching. He tried to stop it but it won't, he then slapped it with his hand.

"Stop you stupid phone." He said agitatedly.

Then it stopped.

Silence.

Then suddenly a pair of hands pulled him from the road to the bushy part of the gate. He tried to scream but was quickly silenced by a rag that was forced into his mouth. He budged but the hands only squeezed harder, bruising him for sure. Suddenly an unwanted memory returned, tears flooded his eyes. He shook himself more violently this time, still the man was strong.

"Stop pretty boy, we're just gonna play." The man whispered which made Sunghoon scream again.

Sunghoon, with his last bit of hope and fear and anger, jumped up and landed on the man's feet hard.

Now Sunghoon might be thin, but years of figure skating taught him how to control his weight while jumping and landing.

The man suddenly let go, he groaned and fell to the ground.

Sunghoon wasted no time and pulled the rag out of his mouth and ran as fast as he can, trying to remember the path on his phone.

Tears blurred his vision, he was basically sobbing while running.

"Only one more turn, please just let me go home." He begged the universe for mercy, not daring to look back if the kidnapper is following him.

And alas, when he took the last turn he saw his building. He quicken his pace and quickly ran into his room reaching into his pocket for the key and struggled to open the door knob with the key.

But he made it.

He opened the door and went inside, then locked it once he was inside.

He's safe.

Well, he was.

But another pair of hands reached for his shoulder, making him scream in terror. The fear he felt was too much, it was traumatic.

His vision whitened, then it blacked out.
