Chapter Three

Madisons POV:

-the next day I went to work at the ice cream shop after school and Jasmine was working.-
Jasmine: Heyy Madison!
Me: Oh... hey.
Jasmine: What's wrong you seem off?
Me: Sorry.. I'm just.. tired I guess.
Jasmine: I didn't see you much at school today either..
Me: Oh..
-I started working and I saw Joey walk in. I put my head down as he came up to order. I ran to the back to get Jasmine.-
Me: Jasmine! Please take joeys order for me!
Jasmine: Why?
Me: Uhmm because I'm still shy because I'm new?
Jasmine: Okay I was kind of busy stocking but... fine!
Me: Thank you!
Jasmine: Hello. Can I take your order please?
-I watched as Joey ordered and he glanced over at me a couple times. I know he came here just to see me. He got his ice cream and sat down at a table.-
Jasmine: I don't know why you couldn't take his order.
Me: I don't know either...
Jasmine: Okay! What's up? You've been acting off all day..
Me: Ok fine I'll tell you in the cool room.
-we went back to the cool room with her.-
Me: Joey kissed me!
Jasmine: What?! Why?
Me: I don't know he just like kinda grabbed me quick.
Jasmine: Why didn't you stop him?
Me: I don't know! Ok! It just happened fast I guess..
Jasmine: Did you kiss back?
Me: Even if I wanted to I didn't have time..
Jasmine: How did it lead to a kiss?
Me: Well he like called me pretty and started touching my shoulder. I told him I had to go but he just like kissed me!
Jasmine: Well... did you like it?
Me: I.. I don't know..
-I crossed my arms-
Jasmine: Well you better figure this out. I thought you were in love with Jackson.
Me: I am! I don't know why I'm like this.
Jasmine: Sometimes kissing can stir feelings and let's face it, joeys hot. But the feeling could either go away or it'll stay. Figure it out.
Me: I just know Joey likes me though. And he's Jacksons brother. I just hope that Jackson doesn't find out.
Jasmine: Yea well we better get back to work.
-Joey stayed there until my shift was over.-
Joey: Hey can I talk to you outside please?
Me: Uhm sure.
-we went outside the shop.-
Joey: I'm...sorry I just.. I was hoping that after I'd kiss you you'd like me.. it's stupid I know..
Me: But you know me and Jackson are in love right?
Joey: Yeah.. I guess I was just.. never mind I'm selfish. Sorry.
Me: It's just not gonna happen.. Joey. I'm sorry. 
Joey: It's fine I guess...
