I wake up, my head resting on Dereks chest. His eyes fall on mine as I look up at him. He whispers, "Good morning, my love." I tell him good morning and give him a kiss. We lay in silence for a few minutes, then we decide to get up. We head to the bathroom to wash our faces and brush our teeth. "I could use a shower." Derek says, smirking at me. I chuckle and say, "Then take one." He gives me a look, it's the kind of look you get from your mother when you make a joke about her love life. "Would you like to join me?" He asks. I smile, "I would love to." We take our clothes off and step in.

We step out of the shower, he grabs us two towels to dry ourselves off with. "Thank you, Derek." I tell him. He smiles at me and leans in for a kiss. We wrap our towels around our bodies and head into our bedroom. I grab a bra and a black pair of panties and put them on. I take my robe off the hook hanging on the bathroom door. I put it on and tie it. Derek and I go to the kitchen. I grab two mugs and set them on the counter. I turn the coffee pot on. He turns on the oven and grabs the egg carton from the fridge. When the coffee is done I pour us both some. "Coffee?" I ask him, handing him the mug. "Thank you, dear." He says, as he takes a sip from the cup. My phone starts ringing. I pick it up and read the name. It's Hotch. "Hello?" I say. "Meredith, I know it's your day off but I need you to come in." Great. This is just great. Derek took the day off so we could spend it together. With the kids at his mothers house, we were finally alone. I ask him if we have a case just to be sure. "Yes we do, Meredith. I know it's your day off, but I wouldn't be calling you if we didn't need you." I sigh. "Okay, I'll be in shortly. Bye." I set my phone on the counter and place my head in my hands. After a few moments I look up at Derek. He can tell I'm a little pissed off. "Work?" He asks. "Yeah.. I'm sorry, Derek." "Don't be." He gives me a small smile, "Duty calls." He says, trying to hold in his laugh. "Oh my God." I say. We both start to laugh. After a few moments I say, "I should probably get ready."

I head upstairs to get ready. I walk into the bathroom and put on my makeup. I go into my room and grab a pair of black denim jeans, a black tank top with lace around the top, and a plain light green, long sleeve Hawaiian type shirt. I wrap my belt around my waist and head back downstairs. I put on my gun holster and type in the code to open the safe. I take my gun out and put it on. I look at Derek and tell him I'm sorry again. "Meredith, it's okay." He says, "We all have to work, it's a part of life." I smile at him. He walks around the counter and pulls me in for a kiss. It lasts around 10 seconds, and then we pull away. I turn around and grab my shoes to put them on. I lace them up and grab my keys from the bowl by the door. I go back to give Derek another kiss and then as I'm about to walk out, I say "I love you!" "I love you too, Meredith. Please be careful!" He shouts, "I'll try!" I shout back. I walk over to my car and drive to the BAU.

I pull into my spot and head for the doors. I walk in and I go to the elevators. I step into one of them and press 4. The doors open and I walk to the conference room. "Sorry I'm late, traffic was a bitch today." I say. "It's all good, Meredith." Luke says. "Can we start now?" Hotch asks." I sit down next to Morgan. Penelope starts to tell us about the case. "Harold Murray abducted 3 young girls yesterday. Carol Liams, Jamie Fox, and Kalena Jacobson. Suffolk County P.D has called us in for help." "Harold Murray?" I ask. I've heard the name before but I just can't place where. "We arrested him back in 2011 for the abduction of 4 other girls." JJ tells me. "He got out?" I ask. "Yeah, they let him out for good behavior a few months ago." Emily says. "Oh good God, seriously?" I say. "I know." She says. Garcia finishes telling us everything we need to know about the case. "Wheels up immediately." Hotch says, "We don't have time to wait, you all know the chances for abducted children."We all get up and head for the jet.
