"Close enough..." I breathed heavily trying to stop my self from smiling. "Everything okay with your face?" She asked not changing her expression "are you really what I think you are?" I bowed my head "Celia that's not necessary" she shook her head "how did you- over power my wall?" My eye brow raised "mermaids have mind control- well more of an influence it's, complicated but I didn't over power anything"

"Celia your walls are down" she frowned at me confused. How did I not notice that? It must have been Reece he messes with my powers they must have not gone back up when I was looking for flames bones. "My name is mae" "What happened to you mae?" I walked forward after putting them back up. "Actually that's why I'm here... I don't remember what happened-and your the most powerful seer"

"You want me to root about in your head to find you some answers" I helped her stand. "Yes but we need to do it in mermaid form it will be more effective" "how long have you been looking for me?" "I started looking for a way to remember about a day ago I swam here from Iceland" "Okay- okay um I have a pool in my house we can do it there I just need to get Reece's car Keys" I told her putting pressure on the biggest wound.

"Dry your self as best you can with my jacket I'll be back in a second" I nodded to her "I'll also treat that" "Celia wait" she caught on to my hand "thank you- this means so much" this girl must have been in the year below me her eyes sad but her smile bright and meaningful . "Just stay hidden for me" I rubbed her scaly yet soft hand before running back to the school, I ran back in to the English class.

Reece stared at me confused "I'll explain later but I need your car keys" I whispered to him "what's going on? He asked reaching in to his pocket "Reece I need to go before people see my arms". He dropped the keys in his pocket and remove the whole jacket "your safe right?" He asked me worriedly. "Yeah I'll be at home" I nodded putting on the jacket. "Thank you, I love you" being in a rush I kissed him and ran out the classroom.

Only when I got to the door did I realise what I did, slowly I turned around slowly dragging my glare from the floor to his eyes. But I didn't have time to stop, so I carried on running.

"I love you too" Reece's sighed under his breath watching me run away.

At my house

"Nice house" she looked up and around once out of the house. "Reece had it done up" "Reece? Oh Rutherford?" She smiled knowingly "It's not like that anymore" I told her sympathetically looking at the stones on the floor. "We broke up" "but you still live with him?" Mae looked at me with a sneaky grin "it's complicated- this town isn't really safe at the moment we have to sort the situation out before I can move on with my life" I told her confidently.

"Yeah I hear your in beef with pytho" mae side looked me "you heard? Where" I stoped what I was doing to look at her property. "I know because I live underwater you think we don't hear things but we have a lot of spy's" I looked at her strangely "not that we're spying on you! but Uh just around really" she stuttered. "So you guys really live like us? In towns and city's underwater"  "yeah we live in schools, there's about fifty mermaids in my school"

We went in to the house and mae was almost completely dry now "come I'll have a look at that first" I pushed the bathroom door open for her "thank you" she took a seat on the side of the bath and I went to get the medical kit. I also got a spare pair of clothes for her from my room. "I was told you heal quite quickly" I smiled coming back in.

"No we have special Herbs only we can reach at the bottom of the sea but I haven't learnt how to mix them together and what not yet" she peeled her T-shirt up revealing the deep wound. "I'll need to stitch that" I breathed taking a closer look. "Is it just me or dose that look like a burn" I asked her raising my eyebrow. "But I haven't been out of water for months" "so something burnt you while you were with your school or where you separated" "we never separate- It's a very low possibility" she stuttered.
