Brief explanation:
Karl is mentally ill, he used to see visions of a boy when he was young, then he started medication and the boy went away, leaving him friendless.
A few years later Karl stops taking his meds and the boy comes back, Karl only has 2 and a half months with this boy and he soon realises he has fallen for a phantom.
