Kai

"Lina come here! The letter finally came!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Keeping the oddly wide smile on my face.

I stared at the piece of letter that can finally change my life. I can finally be better for Lina!

"What is it Kai? Don't shout bunny. Your throat's going to be sore. Here, have some water first." When the tall, gorgeous girl appeared in front of me I couldn't help the warm feeling inside my tummy. Even more so when I saw the gentleness in her eyes.

"I can do it Lina, my hands are okay." I whined when I saw her beckoning the bottled water straight to my mouth. Though I may dislike her actions of treating me like a handicapped, I couldn't help but still blush. She always does this kind things. As if I'm a kid or something.

The corner of my eyes felt hot when I saw her clear beautiful face leaning down.

"Shush Kai, don't make a fuss and drink." Displayed with her doting tone, I couldn't help but be obedient and part my lips. Feeling the water slowly being poured into the insides of my mouth.

"Now that's a good boy." She stroke my blushing cheek with the back of her hand as she say that with a straight face. As if complimenting me is just as normal as talking about the weather.

While the crippled, old me felt like my heart is going to burst out of my ribcage. I sighed. She's so gorgeous. Lina is my family. My everything after everyone abandoned me.

"Now tell me why is my bunny so happy?" Lina kneeled in front of me. Staring at me with her tantalizing onyx eyes.

Most people thought that we're lovers because Lina is too attentive to me. And I blush at that thought. I really like her, maybe even love her more than a friend  but I'm sure she just thinks of me as her childhood friend. Although it broke my heart that I'm just a useless, crippled loser guy, I'm trying to be better and I've been saving a lot since I wanted to be able to stand.

To walk.

To be rightful of being able to be beside Lina.

She always offered to help me with my legs but I don't want to be a parasite and use her help all the time. I want to earn the money myself.

I shook my head and look at my friend who treated me better than anyone.

Lina has always been outstanding since we were a child. She's heavenly gorgeous, she's rich, she's smart and above all she's a kind person.

Even to someone like me, she can talk and smile as if I'm just a normal person. Not dirt poor or crippled.

Now my dreams of being a proper person for her is starting.

Maybe she can finally like me when I can walk!

"I sent an application form to the Rosio's last month. I've expressed my feelings of working in the next city. And I thought that they disregarded my emails, even thought that they rejected me already because I'm handicapped but this morning they, t-they sent me this letter Lina!" While immersing myself in my story. I missed the dark glint that flashed through Lina's eyes. As well as the tightening of her grip towards my wheelchair.

"Oh! That's so great bunny, you're always so amazing. I'm sure they have no reason to reject you. Kai is the best among the applicants." She took both of my hand, entwining it with her soft fragrant ones. Sometimes I couldn't help but think that, maybe, just maybe she likes me too?
