*sigh*+ "You okay Ryan" my coworker asked as he put his hand on my back I jumped he scared me a little I turned around and gave a fake smile "Yeah I'm fine it's just a busy shift tonight" I began washing my hands "Definitely but atleast you off tomorrow you know the hospital is the busiest on Saturday" "Yes I'm so glad I get to sleep in .. let me go check on my patient I'll catch u before I leave" "Okay text me" he hollered as I walked out
(That's Ivan my ex boyfriend/ sneaky link Lol yeah I know it's crazy I work with my ex We've been on and off for 2 years he just doesn't know how to make me happy) • • • *yanks curtains back * "Goodmoring Mrs. Stone I'm back to check your blood pressure again" My patient of course wasn't too happy maybe because it's 5 in the morning "Again can't this wait I want to get my sleep in" She catches an attitude "I can definitely relate but it's only gonna take 3 minutes top ok" I sat her up a little in her bed "Fine" she threw her arm on the arm rest *beep beeep beep* My pager went off 911 "Mrs stone I'll be right back if I don't be back in 10 minutes I'll send Nurse Anderson" She shued me away "Yeah yeah" she turned over I bolted out the room to emergency The first thing I see is a man being pushed in wet and unconscious "What happened" I asked the EMS crew while analyzing his face he's not bad looking at all "He accidentally drove his car threw the bridge and in the river downtown" one said "How the hell he managed to do that" I said out loud "That's the same thing I was thinking" "Got a name" I asked "Nope he's a John Doe as of now" We made it to the emergency shock room and pulled him on the table I cut his clothes off of him So many tattoos Doctor hill checked his heart "Still theres no heartbeat" the doctor yelled "Everybody clear" I hollered as everyone moved back I shocked him He checked the heart again "Still no beat try it again" he ordered "Clear" I yelled again His body jerked up but we still didn't have a heart beat "One last time" Doc said I began to get frustrated I hate losing patients regardless of their situation "Clear" I yelled once again "No response" Doc yelled taking his gloves off "Time of death 5:42am" I took mines off and hopped on the bed hovering over the patient as started compressions and cpr "Umm sir" one of the nurses said Doctor Hill turned around in complete shock "Nurse Adams get down it's no point he's already dead" he hollered "Sir please just let me try this one more time" I said while doing everything over "GET THE HELL OFF THAT TABLE AND THAT IS AN ORDER" he screamed angered I tryed one more time Then the patient sat up urgently taking a long breath We were all shocked "Hook him up to machines fast" the doctor says The patient began throwing up I hurried and grabbed a bowl for him As he threw up I was looking in his face I guess he felt me looking at him and he made eye contact with me and I quickly looked away "Sirrrr sir can you tell me your name" Doc asked
