11. Best friends forever

In the lunch,

Sidd is sitting near the window, looking towards outside and thinking about his parents.

Suddenly a hand comes on his shoulder. He looks back, it's Anushka.

Anu: Hi Siddharth!

"Hi!", Sidd again turns his eyes towards the window.

Sidd looks at Anu.

Anu: You're thinking about your parents na?

Sidd: Yeah, telling. Actually, today is her birthday na. So, she wants us to have a dinner with her and her family.

Amit: With us? You mean... you and me?

Sidd nodes his head in yes.

Amit: Okay... But one second! Why didn't she herself tell it to me? Like... she wants to invite us... then she should invite both of us separately na. She told you herself, but didn't say anything to me. What is this behaviour? No, I'm not coming.

Sidd: Dude! She didn't invite you herself because she thinks that if she would ask you to come, you'll directly refuse her. That's why she asked me to convince you. And just a while ago, you were talking about friendship and bonding and all... and just now we both became separate ha?

Amit: No... I didn't mean that...

Sidd: Then what did you mean? I don't know anything! You're coming with me and that's final. She is the birthday girl and I don't want to make her upset today.
