Yanfei and Hu tao held hands the whole way walking to get questioned. They freaked out when they saw Ningguang standing in the doorway, having her arms crossed. Yanfei tightened her grip on Hu tao;s hand.

"Shhhh. it's okay, we'll be okay."

Hu tao whispered into her ear.

"I'd like to see Yanfei first. Please follow me."

Ningguang said calmly.

"Hey, you guys said we could stay together!"

Hu tao said at Ningguang.

"We never promised you to stay together besides, you guys were together walking here so. Too bad Hu tao, you get to stay here with me."

Ningguang said sadistically.

Yanfei followed the guard into the interrogation room.

"So... Hu tao"

"What Ningguang. Get to the point."

Hu tao had been in trouble with Ningguang before. Hu tao ran into her when she was running away from a shop owner she had just scared. He ran after her with a kettle and threatened to burn her with the boiling water inside. When she ran into Ningguang, she accidently dropped something fragile and it broke. It must've meant a lot since she called her guards after Hu tao and she ran away and hid in a small alley way. She was surprised the guards didn't find her there.

"I REALLY want to know who did this.. and I don't think your precious girlfriend would've done it, nor do I think she would tell on you for doing it."

Ningguang smiled.

"I would never kill Rex Lapis. Especially since Yanfei was really excited to see it. I just wanted her to have a good time today, but someone else ruined it and it wasn't me."

Hu tao was making a fact, she was hoping she isn't suspicious because of some little accident that wasn't even her fault, Ningguang held a grudge against Hu tao and she doesn't want that to be the reason she is thought to have killed Rex Lapis.

"Right, and do you have proof?"

"N-no, but there is cameras around Yujing Terrace, isn't there?"

"Yeah ok, lets go have a look then to see if your guilty."

Ningguang glared into Hu tao's eyes and scared herself a little.

Hu tao tried to look through the window to check on Yanfei but the windows were blocked and she couldn't see through.

Hu tao sighed and followed Ningguang to the camera room to check to see if Hu tao was guilty or not.

Meanwhile with Yanfei, she sat bouncing her leg in the chair. She breathed in and out and she was suddenly calmer and not so emotional.

"We're not actually questioning you ma'am, unless you know something about Hu tao doing this, then we'll ask you questions.

They think Hu tao did it? W-why would they think she did it, she was holding my hands the whole time. It is kind of weird she knew something was going to happen though. Is she not telling me something?

Was there something Yanfei didn't know about Hu tao or is she just getting doubted into thinking something bad about her.

Yanfei started biting her nails, it was something she did when she was nervous or anxious.

"I-I know nothing about it. I know Hu tao wouldn't have done that to me, she knew I was excited to see it. She cares about me..."

Why was Yanfei doubting Hu tao? She knew that she wouldn't do that to her...not to anyone.

"People might hate Hu tao and she knows that, but she wouldn't do this just because they hate her! She has been through so much and you guys don't understand!"

Yanfei began sobbing, it's not fair they want to take Hu tao away. She lifted her arms to cover her face, and she began shaking uncontrollably, just the possibility of Hu tao leaving her is scary...

"That's enough Yanfei."

The guard said across from her.

Hu tao kept following Ningguang to the camera room to check the footage back.

I can't believe this is all because of some grudge that Ningguang has against me... I would never hurt Yanfei and ruin something she was so excited about. This is getting out of hand...

All Hu tao could do was worry about Yanfei, what if they're overwhelming her with questions, what will they do to her?

When they reached the room Hu tao leaned against a wall next to the door and watched Ningguang pull up the footage. Hu tao watched anxiously as she watched it back. She could see her and Yanfei walking backwards to leave when Hu tao noticed something wrong.

"Why are you moving backwards Hu tao?"

"Because I knew something was wrong when the ground shook just like how I know you knew something was wrong too."

Hu tao closed her eyes to try and focus on what's happening and what could be happening to Yanfei.

"What are they asking Yanfei?"

Hu tao raised her voice slightly just because she wanted an answer.

"She's fine, we're just trying to make her talk about what happened and why you did it!"

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"Woah... someone's got a temper."

Ningguang chuckled.

Hu tao calmed down and said,

"Sorry, I just want to know..."

After watching everything over again, Ningguang had no evidence that she did anything so she gritted her teeth and then said,

"I-I have no evidence that you did it, I'm sorry for falsely accusing you, you and Yanfei may leave..."

Ningguang looked to the side and crossed her arms.

Hu tao widened her eyes and said

"Really? You're just letting me go! Yess is Yanfei going to be alright?"

"She should be fine, go get her and leave at once, I don't want to see your face right now."

Hu tao stood up straight and sprinted down the hallway to the door where Yanfei is. She burst it open and startled her.

"Yanfei! We can go! Hehe~"

Yanfei ran to Hu tao and hugged her. She then grabbed Hu tao's hand and they walked away happily.

I'm so glad she didn't leave me. I don't know what I would do without her.

Yanfei smiled cheerfully as she looked at Hu tao. Everything is back to normal.

(I know Ningguang isn't like an evil character in the game, I just couldn't think of anyone else for this scene lol, anyways hope you enjoy the rest of the parts! <3)
