After the confrontation which scared both Hu tao and Yanfei, they spent a few days apart just to calm down. A lot had happened and they figured they needed time before their next day together.

Hu tao was cleaning up her counter and wiping it down when suddenly the door bell rang, someone had come in.

"Hello! How may I help you?"

"Hey Hu tao."

It was a deepish voice.

Hu tao looked up and saw Zhongli.

He stood still and stared at the ceiling holding his chin.

"Osmanthus wine tastes the same as I remember-"

"ZHONGLI! *ahem* anyways what would you like Zhongli?"

Zhongli stopped talking and looked at Hu tao again.

"Yes, sorry. Uh I just wanted to ask how you and Yanfei are. Are you guys still talking?"

Hu tao stopped wiping the counter and put the sponge in a bucket that was in the back.

"W-we stopped talking..."

Hu tao fiddled with her rings and sighed.

"Oh, why?"

"Remember when I told you about Rex Lapis?"

Zhongli nodded his head and crossed his arms.

"The leader of the Qixing, Ningguang thought I did it and it scared Yanfei so much she thought she needed a break."

Hu tao clenched her fists, she just wanted Yanfei to be happy and  someone else ruined it.

"B-besides she has work to do as well..."

"Alright, if you need someone to talk to I can get someone for you. Anyways bye Hu tao!"

Zhongli opened the door and did a small wave then left.

Hu tao locked the doors to go eat some lunch at Wanmin restaurant. She hadn't had a proper meal for a while since she was constantly thinking about what she could've done better at the rite of decension.

"Hello! My name is Xiangling and I'll be your waiter for today! Oh, you were with miss Yanfei for a small date, right?"

Hu tao looked up an smiled.

"Yeah that's me."

"So, where's Yanfei~"

Xiangling teased Hu tao, and then realised she was upsetting her so she stopped.

"Sorry, did something happen? You guys were so cute toooo."

Xiangling whined sadly.

"Xiangling, its fine! We're fine, I think..."

Hu tao mumbled the last bit as to not worry Xiangling.

"Oh well! Anyways what would you like to eat?"

"I'll get the same as last time, Ghostly March please"

Hu tao smiled sweetly at Xiangling.

"Is that it? Hehe~"

"Yeah, thanks so much."

"No problem! By the way, Yanfei comes down every Friday for dinner, if you want to come~"

"I don't want to worry her, so I probably won't come down."

"Okay!"

Hu tao painted her nails while she waited for her food to come and when it did, it filled Hu tao because she hadn't eaten properly for a couple of days.
