Jordan stood at the edge of the cliff, waiting to fall. Pax standing in front of them, "Don't jump!" Jordan smiled as they fell back. . .
The two 17 year olds laughed as Jordan landed in three pillows. Jordan quickly got up, Pax helping them get off the ground and onto their feet.
Jordan was the one who was more observant. They liked to make plans and were mostlikely out of the two to commit some sort a crime.
(Lemon: *Cough* Probably arson *Cough) They were wearing tan overalls over a brown undershirt.
Pax was a curious person. They liked to know and understand everything and anything. She got easily distracted, even by the littlest of things. She wore brown skirt overalls (?) over an oversized tan shirt.
The teens watched as the door opened to their white room. A man in a lab coat walking in. The two knew what was to come now, only breakfast but after that? Testing.. The two followed the man towards a cafeteria. A few other people sitting around.
Pax dragged Jordan to get something to eat in the morning. Here in their facility, it was horrid. The staff people were ruthless here, they didn't care if you broke a leg or an arm, they'd send you back to your room to deal with it yourself.
Jordan ate only a muffin, they didn't trust the food here too much. Pax had gotten toast, her favorite breakfast option there. The two sat in their corner. They've been planning on how they'd escape here. Today seemed to be a good day to get out and see the real world. They were low on staff today, only about 5 personel would be outside while they were.
Jordan made the plan mostly, scheming being something they've enjoyed. They planned when the two get outside for their break they'd run as far as they could. Jordan saw a small hole in the wall that surrounded the place than was big enough for the two of them. It was blocked usually but they could slip pass.
The duo finished rather quickly. They had testing immediately after. Jordan and Pax being split up to be tested on. Jordan going down the left hall as Pax went to the right one.
Jordan was mostly just injected with a few needles and having blood tested on again. Pax was having a search through, the people looking for anything new as they tried to mix more DNA together the other day.
[Time skip - Break]
Jordan and Pax have been outside for a few minutes. Jordan looked at Pax who was eating a flower. Jordan sighed, "Really?" Pax stood up, "What? I like flowers." Jordan ran, taking Pax's arm and dragged them across the court yard. The duo made it to the hole in the wall to see only one person standing there. Jordan looked at Pax, "Go distract him-" Pax nodded, "ight!"
Pax walked over to the man, "Hello!" They started up a conversation, Jordan not paying much attention to what it was about. Pax pointed over somewhere and the dude ran over to where she was pointing. Jordan walked over, "What did you say?" Pax smiled, "That someone was making yet another hole in the wall."
Jordan rolled their eyes, quickly grabbing ahold of Pax's hand and running outside of the walls. The two ran a little bit before being seen by a woman who worked there. The female called up a few other staff.
The duo were still quite aways away from the 7 staff members. The took a sharp turn to the left, Jordan hid behind a bush as Pax hid behind a tree. The staff member running straight pass them. The teens sighed in relief as they stood up from the forest floor.
The two ran to the right laughing as they realized they did it.
They escaped the facility.
Jordan stopped as they saw a small abandoned cabin. Pax standing next to Jordan, "Huh.. Who knew someone lived this close to the facility?" Jordan smiled as they walked in.
The place was a little run down and beaten. Wood from the floor slightly broken or damp and one window broken. Pax entered the place, "It's okay.." Jordan put their hands to their hips, "Mhm, I mean it's either this or no roof over our heads." Pax nodded as the hybrids walked further inside of the dusty place.
[Time Skip - Later That Night]
Jordan stared outside of the window, making sure the facility members weren't around here before they fell asleep. Pax yawned, "Jordan. I'm sure we're gonna be fine tonight!" Pax patted the floor, "Just go to sleep! It's late". Jordan rolled their eyes, "Okay okay. I'm going to bed now.." Pax smiled as they laid back down on the ground.
Jordan laid there in the empty room. Silence being the only noise they could hear, besides the shuffling of Pax on the floor. Jordan laid down on the ground, sighing as they closed their eyes. They were tired, and soon fell asleep.
Pax shuffled around. She was still awake, uncomfortable on the ground. They sighed as the stared at the ceiling. She pondered a few random questions in their mind, mostly about the stupidest things. They did this until they couldn't think of anything anymore except for how silent the room was. Pax sighed as she laid on her side, falling asleep finally.
Neither one of them had truly a good slumber, but it was good enough as to where they could get at least 6 hours of sleep in. Pax and Jordan really hoped they'd learn more about themselves and the real world while they were out of their containment. They were pleased to get away finally and hoped they'd be outside of it all for good
