I can't believe Jordan sent me out fishing. Pax walked outside of their cabin, watching Jordan walk deeper into the oak tree forest.

I sighed, walking around to a nearby river. There was sound of flowing water somewhere around here. I stumbled upon it after only 5 minutes of looking. I only know just realized I had nothing to really catch the fish with.. "..oh, I guess it's tactical fishing today..!" I sat down on my knees and looked into the water to see if there were any fish swimming in the murky water. I saw a few groups of them swimming in different areas.

I slowly made my way towards the first group. I tried to grab them as fast as I could, not capturing any. I sighed only realizing this is gonna take a while.

I kept moving towards other groups, trying to do the same and catch them with my bare hands, only to fail. I groaned, sitting back on the grassy floor. I closed my eyes, due to the sun bring too bright.

I heard a couple foot steps, I really hope that's Jordan.. A shadow lurked over me as I opened my eyes. I saw a brown haired female leaning over me, she had antennas, wings, and a small stinger. She looked quite pretty to be honest. I blushed a little as she stood up straight. I sat up and looked at her as she held her hand out, "Need a hand, bzz?" I smiled as I grabbed her hand and pulled myself up.

I smiled, "Hello..! I'm Pax!" She chuckled a bit before speaking again, "I'm Bailey, bzzt!" I looked into her eyes, they were a nice golden yellow. Like the sun, but even more bright and beautiful.

I soon heard, "You alright..? Bzzzt?" Come from Bailey. I exited my trance and stuttered a bit, "I-Uhm.. Yeah- I'm good.." Bailey smiled again, "Okay uh, what were you doing on the ground bzzzt? You do know that bears are out here right bzzt?" I nodded, "I was trying to catch the fish for me and my sist-" Bailey cut me off, hovering a bit while her wings moved, "Oooh! I could try and help by making the fish swim to you bzzt!"

I smiled, "That could work!" So, we did exactly that. Bailey stood in the water, it only reaching her knees. She started to move her hand towards the fish, making them swim away from her. I sat on my hands and knees at the edge of the water, reaching my hands in as the fish collided with them. I quickly cupped my hands, bring them out of the water. I smiled as I held 3 flopping fish, "We caught three!" Bailey smiled and raised her hands in the air, "Yes, bzzt!" I put the fish inside of the pot.

We did this repeatedly, the fish in the pot stacking up. Eventually we filled it a bit over halfway. We sat by the river, resting a bit. Bailey smiled and asked, "hmm.. Wanna play 21 questions, bzzt?" I smiled and quickly answered, "Sure!"

Bailey started, "uhmm.. What're your pronouns bzzt?" "Oh! They/her! Uh- Are you out here with anyone else?" Bailey hesitated a little, "Uh- yeah, my two friends; their names are Rylan and Lily.. My turn, How about you- bzzt" I smiled and cut her off a little, "Jordan, my sibling.. I bet your friends are nice" Bailey smiled, "They're the best friends you could ever get bzzt!" I smiled at her and laughed a little bit, "Do they ever get annoying?" I slightly punched her shoulder.

The bee hybrid smiled, "Yeah- Sometimes..- How about your sibling, Jordan bzz?" She pushed me a little, "Yep, siblings am I right? I bet you could never be annoying, you're so nice!" She blushed as she chuckled a little and pushed lightly again, "S..Stop it bz!" I smiled and pushed back, "Nope, you'd never be annoying to me" She pushed again. We pushed eachother again and again until she soon fell into the water.

She laughed as she stood up, "Come, get in! We could catch some more fish, bzzzzt!" I smiled, "No no, I'm good, I'll stay on dry land.." She rolled her eyes, "Okay okay.. But let's fish a bit more Bzz!" I nodded and sat by the water.

A few catches later she brings a huge group of them over. I leaned in a little more to grab them but fell in. I stood up, "That is cold water-" I heard Bailey laughing, "Y-.. You f-fell in-! Bz-z..zt!" I smiled, "Yeah yeah- whatever.."

I quickly got out of the water, Bailey following me. She calmed down finally, "Okay okay.. I'd probably have to go soon" I nodded, "I do too.. I guess I'll see you around then, yeah?" Bailey nodded, "Meet you here tomorrow?" I nodded and started to walk away. Before I could walk any further I was pulled back and held by Bailey.

I knew my face was probably red by now, "I- Erm.." She quickly kissed me before letting me stand myself. I stood there, still processing what happened then as Bailey walked away. I quickly made my way back to mine and Jordan's house, still drenched in water.

I stood infront of Jordan and sighed, Brain, think of an excuse- "I hate fishing..-" Jordan laughed at me as I tried to dry myself off. Jordan and I walked into our home.

They continued to laugh at me as I sat down. Jordan gave me a towel they found. I quickly wrapped it around myself, I was freezing. I sat there for a bit, recalling what happened at the river.
