The doctors wouldn't let anyone in the room while Izumi and Eri healed Izuku. Which you guessed was understandable.
Everyone was sleep. It was been 4 hours and the girls still didn't come out. You weren't sure what was happening, whenever you went to ask one of the doctors for information on what was happening they'd just shoot you down saying everything was under control.
Under control my ass
You paced back and forth not being able to sit still. How can they possibly sleep at a time like this? You questioned.
Walking into the rest room, you slpash water on your face trying to calm down. You looked in the mirror at yourself. "I look like shit." You chuckle lightly to yourself.
There was a soft knock at the door startling you slightly. "Y/n, can I come in."
Turning off the water you head to the door. Opening it. "Hey, just wanted to make sure you where okay." Shoto said shutting the door behind him.
You shook your head looking at the floor. "Well I'm not. Not at all am I doing okay. How can I be? I mean the love of my life is on his death bed quite literally and my daughter is trying to save his life while I sit here and cry. I don't know why I'm even here if u can't help. What am I good for other that. CRYING, it's all I do! Tell me. I truly want to know what am I good for! Why the hell am I alive! It should be me!" You yell breaking down.
"I- I have nothing to do. I can't save him, I can't change the fact that I sent my husband on a path to death. I... I can't do anything. I'm useless, I wish he never had met me. Maybe then-"
"Maybe then what y/n. Then he would have possibly been died from a fight with a villain along time ago but with no family there by his side. No wife, no kid, nothing to leave behind. Nothing to truly call his own. Is that what you wanted? You wanted him to have nothing to live for? The only reason he comes back everytime after a fight with a villain is because he knows he was his family waiting for him. He reason he pushes to make sure he stays alive is because of you. He was a little girl to come back to, he was the only woman he's ever truly loved with everything in him to return home to. You ARE HIS LIGHT, your HIS LIFE. So don't you ever and I mean ever wish that again." Shoto said holding your balled up body.
"You did nothing wrong and everything right. I couldn't have asked for anyone more prefect then you to be by his side." You look up at shoto with bloodshot puffy eyes. He smiles lightly wiping your face with the tissue.
"I'm telling izuku too."
You chuckle lightly sniffling. "Thank you." You whisper.
"Ofcourse, now lets go and wait for the results." You nod heading back to the waiting area with everyone.
You fell asleep not to long after you got back with Uraraka on one side holding your hand and shoto on the other staying up waiting. "Y/n....y/n"
