Also by the time that you open this chapter, i would have renamed all the chapter names. I will be giving names to all the chapters. This chapter was good initially but wasn't as fun at the end so it might seem a little sloppy at the end. Have fun!

Anya would never be the protagonist of the story. Neither would she ever be the favourite child. But what was true, was that she found her true home. She smiled as her and Kusoo talked on snapchat. She found out Kusoo's real name. It was Mia. She smiled as she and Mia talked. God she loved her. Wait- love. She opened whatsapp on her laptop as she talked on snapchat on her phone. She sent a panicked message asking if she should confess now. She exchanged information while she continued talking with Mia. She confessed and Kusoo saw it. She waited anxiously and saw the reply. Her heart shattered, much more than it had with Iris. She saw the rejection, but the want for them still to be how they were. Anya could never leave Mia so she agreed. A normal person would cry but Anya, she couldn't cry. Her body no longer let her cry. There was no use for it. She bid farewell to Mia and let Mia sleep. She wouldn't keep her up.

She braided her ponytail, her fingers pushing her hair in place as she did. Her emotions were fucked up but she hid that. She put on a new, less cracked mask on. She had gotten her act back up but in the privacy of her bathroom, she lost herself in her own room. The blade. It was hidden in plain sight. In her stationary divider, sat her craft knife. It was the only knife she had access to, but she would prefer a sharper blade. The craft knife she used had a blunt edge so it didn't deal much damage as she sliced through her skin. The blood she wanted would never come out before her body stopped her. Kusoo, Mia, still made her happy. She still had some happiness.

July had just started and her family was going to go on a trip. Her father's 50th birthday was on the 8th of July so they decided to celebrate it since it was special. They would leave on the 7th. She finished braiding her hair and looked at her watch. The 5th of July. She looked at herself in the mirror of her dressing table. The background character. The person who never mattered. She knew this, no need to tell her twice. She watched as her braid fell behind her neck, showing her face. She wish she could hide it behind a mask. Anya only had confidence and a sense of belonging with Mia, but that was no longer. A broken heart is a broken heart, love hurt her. But she still loved.

Her father's birthday came faster than expected. She grabbed her phone and messaged Kusoo good morning. She got up late because she had slept at around 4 am. It had struck 8 am, so she had to get up. She tied her hair up and waited for her brother to leave the bathroom. She proposed that the two of them could date so it would be easier for Kusoo to reject the people who confessed to her without much speculation or guilt. It also gave a less confusing label to what their relationship was. Many people had thought they were dating already so it's not like it changed much of their relationship. Kusoo agreed and Anya smiled as she got up to head to the hotel's breakfast room, pocketing her phone and putting on her mask.

But Anya's story could never have a happy ending.
