Cordelia liked her little adventure to 12 Grimmauld Place, but never had she interpreted that she would be asked to stay there, staring from the very next day.
With the Weasley's, while Remus goes out on a mission assigned to him.
"No, no, no" the girl rapidly shook her head, as Remus packed his things.
Sirius Black was loving the garden, he had spent nearly a whole of 30 minutes ogling the house. Saying how this is what he wanted when he was younger.
He loved running around in the backyard as padfoot.
It was refreshing for him. To spend some time in a house that felt homey.
"I'll be back soon. Don't make it hard for me cub" Remus sighed upon seeing Lia's very upset face.
"But I don't like them! And -and Dumbledore didn't even want me there until yesterday and now he's sending you off to a mission and making me stay there with thr Weasleys' all alone. Isn't it suspicious? He only did you a favour for something in return," Lia cried from her place on the bed.
"It's not suspicious, I saw it coming" Remus told her.
"But there's no point. Whatever the mission is. The werewolves will not join the light!" She pressed.
"How do you even know about this? I have no clue, but there's no harm in trying" said Remus, getting a little frustrated.
"Please! What has Dumbledore ever done for Werewolves? Nothing. Except take one, only one, under his wing so he could manipulate him and send him off the to wolves again and again"
"ENOUGH!"
This made Lia jump slightly. Hell! Even Sirius who was eavesdropping felt like he was caught.
"I don't want to argue with you. But that's enough for today Lia, as your guardian I tell you to stay at Grimmauld Place. You do that. Sirius would be there, it's not only the Weasleys'."
Lia, who looked like she was holding back tears rushed out and towards her room. Slamming the door shut behind herself.
"She's not entirely wrong" came Sirius' soft voice, making Remus sigh and take a seat on his bed.
"I know and which is what worries me. Her being right and so curious is how she ended up in that damned forest"
"She's definitely Regulus' kid. Hard to handle but angel at times... no?" Sirius mused.
"Definitely hard to handle at times" Remus sighed with a small smirk.
-
Lia felt all the eyes on her as soon as they- Remus, Sirius, Lia , Mipsy and Billy stepped in the living room.
Lia's belongings had already been shifted early that morning.
The girl chose to stay in the room, that was hers as a kid.
