"Come, let's fly away,
Far from this cage
Where our hearts long to be,
a place where the air is fresh,
And time never bonds us
Don't hesitate, let go of my hand
And hold on to your dreams...
Read the intriguing, challenging and sometimes annoyin...
"I have so many plans for the cafe. Here, 4-5 rooms would be built upstairs in which people would come and live." She said.
"I have decided that I will never drink tea in this cafe by paying money." He said and smiled.
"Meaning?" She asked with a frown.
"Whatever money you are falling short, you can take it from me and get this deal done." He said, assuring her.
"You yourself don't know what do you want to do in life and you want to give me such a big amount." She said giving him an unbelievable look. "How can you give me such a huge amount?" She asked again.
"I will because I want to." He simply said.
"But you don't even know me very well." She said.
"Even you don't know me." He replied.
"Why do you want this cafe? Just for free tea or do you have some other reasons too?" She asked.
"When I was in college and someone asked whether I wanted to do anything right thing in life, I always had an answer that used to come in my mind. After retiring at the age of forty years, I will open book shop in a small place, away from the city of Mumbai." He said and continued "By calling the children nearby, I will keep telling them new stories.Basically I wanted a world made up of books, chai, hills & rains."
Hearing this, Avni pulled Ved and hugged him and whispered in his ear "Deal done!"
"Make me eat parathas in this happiness. I'm very hungry." He said. She chuckled.
Ved was feeling good after a long time. He was happy that he actually did something that he wanted. Now he would be able to talk to Maya. He was wondering how proud she would feel. He once again was missing her and was lost in her thoughts.
After all the calculation, he assured Avni that he will transfer his part to money within two days. She still couldn't believe that her dream was going to come true.
