After my matriculation that took forever, it finally ended and I was soon back home. I spoke with mum about the funny incident that happened while, I was on my way to get my matriculation gown from the room. We all laughed about it and went upstairs to change.
I was done changing and decided to watch my favorite show, Stranger things season four, when I heard some voices downstairs, one of which was my mom's and the others sounded like that of a male and female. Just then, my mother called and informed me about the unknown guest through radio. I grinned because, I hate it when someone interrupts when i am busy.
I went downstairs to know why she had called me and also see who the unknown visitors were. I saw a girl and a boy who looked so much alike which proved my guess right.
My mum introduced me to them and left us alone, me in particular.
I tried opening mouth to talk but nothing was coming out apart from the minty fragrance from my toothpaste.
Words were not forth coming, so I decided to close it and continue to stare at them . They weren't helping matters either, instead of doing the talking, they kept quiet and cotinued to stare also like, knuckle heads , no offense. Each of us were waiting for someone bold enough to break the silence that was eating deep through my bones. Finally, they got up and decided that they were leaving and appreciated the so- called hospitality, guess they were tired and bored and also thought I was a weirdo. I felt bad and decided to stop them immediately as they were almost opening the door.
They stopped and turned their backs to hear what I had to say.
I apologized and told them the reason behind my weird behavior. They laughed and confessed that they were also nervous and gave me another chance which made me happy.
We ate a lovely meal of Chicken, Turkey and Quinoa salad along, with a tropical fizz pop drink. We chatted and got to know each other deeply, we even attend the same university. I noticed that, Ismail had been staring at me and any time I turn to look at him, he quickly looks away and I just smirk, "what a dummy".
We chatted for a very long time, until they decided to leave. Truth be told, I was sad they were leaving, but also excited. Because, I was exhausted and needed to snooze.
I guess L.SA, isn't bad after all and who knows, things might be perfect in the future.
Let's just see how things will be from now.
