Dying Flower

Ismail (POV)

After being  relentless  on going to  see our new British neighbors, I finally  agreed after much persuasion  from  my sister, Zarah and my mum, Mrs. Halima Khadra.
So here I was, inside  the elegant mansion, with my sister standing beside me. We were received by Mrs. Seth and she called  her daughter. I thought  her daughter  would  be a pre-schooler or an elementary  school student. But I was dazzled by what I saw. A beautiful, tall, slim fair young lady who looked like  she was either seventeen or eighteen years old. I now see the reason why Zara's been pestering me on seeing the 'New Neighbors '. She wanted a ship to be sailed between  Paige  and I. After I broke up with Amelia Carson, the star girl of Los Satiado high school. We were the star couple in the whole of Los Satiado  high school. Our relationship  seemed like a glowing star, not until a video of Amelia making out  with Steve Brian,  the King of football. He was Satiado's best player, got  leaked out during a school  assembly, while sitting next to the cheater. To be honest, I wasn't  surprised  when I heard about it cause, I was getting  bored  and tired of always  going to the mall to buy or order expensive  gifts worth thousands, like one of her purses  costs about two thousand Satialls. Trust me it is not easy.
Back to reality now,  I mean meeting the 'New Neighbors', we were  introduced to the damsel who was referred  to as,  Paige. Her mom left us  and everywhere  became  quiet, it seemed everyone were scared of talking. I was right, about wasting time coming to see The Seth family.
After 30 minutes of deadly silence, their butler came in with food and asked if anyone was hungry and finally, after long, boring and deadly thirty minutes, Paige spoke, by answering  for everyone, 'yeah all of us'.
Thank God Zara responded quickly called off the offer and told her we were  leaving.
As we were about opening  the door, Paige called  us back,  she apologized and told us that the reason she was  acting  weird was because,  she was nervous. She said that she was nervous about making  new friends in a new place and worst of all was that she was scared  of doing  something  stupid  that will ruin her opportunity  of making  friends, which made Zara and I felt sorry for her even though,  we were  caught  laughing  at her.  But sincerely, we were nervous  too and that's the reason  we were  laughing.
We agreed  to eat lunch  with  her and it was fun. I was using  every opportunity  I got to stare at her, when she is distracted  and looked away quickly, pretending to be eating, when she caught me staring  at her.
I saw her smiling and I smiled  along. Well what can I  say, she is an epitome  of beauty.
We chatted and even found out that she is just  started  the same school with us, 'Great Bethany University '. This  means everything has just started  to go smooth. I guess coming  to see Paige's  family, wasn't a bad idea after all.
I don't  know why I am being  flooded with the euphoria  of meeting Paige again, after I made a new year's  resolution, that I won't be in any relationship.
Well let's see if I would be able to keep this new year resolution or maybe not.
