September 4th
Dear Kathy,
I am so dumb sometimes, Ron and I were late on our first day! Did I know where my classroom was; did I ask, did I go with the people who knew where to go? No! I did not do any of those things. Ron and I went down to breakfast, which was delicious by the way, and once we got our schedules all the other kids in our year left to find their class, but we did not. We should have, instead, we stayed until it was almost time for classes to start, so we ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. By the time we found the room we were already ten minutes late, we went inside and a cat was sitting at the desk, it was our teacher!! All of my other classes went well until potions. I do not think the teacher likes me at all. He asked me all the questions that I did not know the answer to and got mad when I told him to call on someone else. We have flying lessons tomorrow. I can't wait.
I made some more friends. I now have Ron, Fred, George, Neville, Seamus, and Dean. I can't wait for you to meet everyone. They are going to love you.

September 5th
Dearest Harold,
For shame, brother dearest, for shame. Late on the first day already. So, your teacher was a cat, was she cute and fluffy? Did you get to pet her or would she scratch you? Sorry, Sorry, let me calm down. Did you enjoy that class? At least I doubt your potions teacher dislikes you already. It is only the first day? Perhaps he was just having a bad day. Talking back is very disrespectful and you shouldn't do it even if he was getting a little attitude, you are lucky he did not give you detention.
How did flying lessons go? Did you fall? I cannot wait to meet all of your new friends, though you do need to befriend some girls too, you know. I had the strangest dream last night. This voice in my head will not go away, it keeps repeating these words to me.
"The man you blame will not be it,
Despite the persona, he doth omit,
Music will soothe the beast on the door,
Don't be scared to fall through the floor."
Isn't that so weird, it is kind of creepy too. Anyways, it is probably nothing, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
