Good Boy! -Werewolf!John Captain x Steve-

Uh oh! Captain is now part wolf! What could go wrong?

-lol my excuse to write a oneshot about a wolf/dogboy Captain since I have a thing for dogboys/doggirls-

"So tell me again how you ended up like this?" The army's local medic asked as she removed the stethoscope from Captain's bare chest and set it down beside the medical bed, as Captain tilted his head so she could get a look at the large bite wound on the side of his neck. His newly acquired fluffy black tail thumped against the mattress on the medial bed. Captain growled as a disinfectant wipe was applied to the bleeding wound.

"Well, during the latest reconnaissance with my group of soldiers, I got lost from the group during the night and ended up in some type of wasteland on the outskirts of the Tankmen's territory. While I was trying to find my way back, I was suddenly ambushed by a group of wolves. I had to fight my way back to the base camp with my life. I'm just glad I made it out alive." Captain concluded as he swayed his legs as the medic nodded and wrote down some notes on the clipboard she picked up. She looked up and pointed her pen at Captain's ears.

"Then how do you explain the ears and the tail?" She said bored, as Captain just shrugged, "Probably some were-wolf shit or something." He growled as he looked down at his pale hands, which now had sharp claws instead of normal finger nails.

"I didn't even know anything lived out in the wastelands, much less a pack of wolves." The medic said as she shook her head, looking over at Captain, who was now occupied with his new set of ears. He looked up as the medic walked over to finish cleaning the extra blood from the wound. Captain just whimpered as it had stung a bit, but he was no pussy, so he could handle the pain like a champ.

Once the medic was done cleaning and thought the wound was fine to be left alone, she walked over to the side desk and picked up the phone that was placed in the corner and began to dial a number.

"Who are you calling?" Captain questioned with a tilt of his head, and Captain's dog instincts kicked in as he wagged his tail at the thought of another person.

"Your right hand man." The medic answered as she held the phone up to her ear, 'Steve?!' Captain thought with excitement as his wolf ears perked up and his tail was wagging wildly. 'Oh boy oh boy!' Captain had never been this excited about seeing his closest soldier, Steve. He knew Steve was his favorite person, second only to Sniper, but was he this desperate, or was this just the newly discovered canine instincts? But who the hell cares? He was still excited about seeing his 'best friend' after a week of not contacting anyone at home base.

But then the sudden realization hit him: how the hell was he supposed to explain the animal parts? Captain looked down at himself and, of course, he was only sitting in his black boxers so the doctor could examine him, but he felt vulnerable all of a sudden as his ears drooped. The medic looked up as she continued talking on the phone. She mouthed a quick 'you ok?' to Captain as he just pointed at the lack of clothing on his body. She waved him off and continued to speak on the phone. 

"Yeah yeah, I have him with me and he's alright sir.. Yes, he will be discharged later tonight. I just need to do another quick check on how he's doing. I'll have him out of here by 8PM sharp." She hung up the phone and turned to Captain. He looked at her with eager eyes.

"So is he coming!?" Captain 'barked' and stood up, wagging his tail as the medic just pushed him back down onto the medical bed with an annoyed look. Captain whined, as he was expecting a more clear answer than just a shove. The medic straightened her jacket as she headed over to a shelf to grab a thermometer.
