〃FOURTEEN〃

"Seokjin-ssi, have you gathered everything I asked you for?" The priest asked as he set the urn under the table.

Seokjin nodded placing all the items on the table. They were all gathered in one of the bedrooms, hoping to lure Jimin's possessed body in. The priest has planned the exorcism to take place this night itself, because tomorrow night Cho-hyun will leave Jimin's body only after leaving irreparable damages. And that- wasn't an option.

It's tonight or never.

"Okay then, let's begin. May I ask somebody to turn off the lights?"

Taehyung nodded and turned off all the bed side lamps lighting up the room. The table in the middle of the room was immediately decorated with five lit up green candles.

"Fire, the deceased soul's cause of death." He spoke as he lit up the last candle.

He then plucked out five petals from a red rose and burnt each one of them on their respective candles.

"Rose petals, sacrificing the symbol of love." He explained.

After all the petals were successfully burnt, he looked at Jungkook right across the table and asked "Jungkook-ssi, are you ready for the bait?"

Everyone's eyes widened at the statement but Jungkook just nodded unfalteringly and placed his thumb on top of one of the candle flames. Father Gong Yoo pulled out a knife and instantly pricked the maknae's thumb.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung and Hobi yelped simultaneously at the scene infront of their eyes.

Jungkook hissed and bit his lips at the sudden throb but cautiously poured a drop of his blood on each candle flames making sure to not put the fire out.

"Blood of the targeted victim." The priest announced.

Then he gestured for all of them to hold hands as in circle. After a minute of silence, he started chanting-

"God of our world and the next, lend us your sight, give the power to see things that can give people fright, too long they've been trapped in the dark but now let them in the light. Set them free, lure them here for us to see."

He unclasped his hand and squeezed a lemon on top of each candles mumbling "Cho-hyun" after every flame went out leaving the room in absolute darkness and silence.

Sound of their breathing wandered around the quiet room as they looked around warily.

"Is she here?" Namjoon asked when suddenly they heard a creek coming from the hallway.

They raised their eyebrows in surprise as they looked at the priest who brought his index finger onto his lips and gestured a hush for Jimin is finally here. They heard gradual footsteps coming closer to the room. The six men hid behind the wall to which the door was attached as Jungkook stood infront of the table waiting for Jimin to open the door and enter into the trap. Jungkook gulped as he looked at the priest holding onto the urn containing Cho-hyun's ashes, very implicitly uncovering it's lid.

The door creaked and opened slowly. Jungkook peeked in haste to find no one there.

"What?" He mumbled in confusion.

Namjoon raised his eyebrows discreetly asking the situation.

"He's not here." Jungkook spoke as he walked outside the door.

"Jungkook-ssi- don't!" The priest yelled but Jungkook was already out of the door. They hurried out of the congested space when they heard a loud scream coming from Jungkook.
