〃NINE〃

"Aren't you a little too young to be a priest?" Yoongi asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Aren't you a little too old to be an idol?" The priest smirked.

"Point taken." Yoongi nodded, rolling his lips in a sheepish smile.

The priest just laughed and shook his head "Actually, I am a priest specialized in medical care. So, yes I believe in science as well as in god. We exist."

"Woah, I'm suddenly questioning my career choice." Hoseok laughed, stroking his chin dramatically.

Namjoon and Taehyung joined them at the living room's couch after putting Jungkook and Jimin in their respective rooms. Jin strictly prohibited from making them sleep in the same room. After witnessing today's events, they could not put any more risk on the maknae's life.

"So, I guess now we're sure about who threatened to kill Jungkookie." Yoongi spoke massaging his head.

"No! Jimin cannot even harm a little bug, he wouldn't write that shit. Besides, he's in love with Jungkook." Taehyung argued.

The priest raised an eyebrow at the implications and asked "Threatened? May I see what it is?"

They took him to Jungkook's room where the message was written.

Father Gong Yoo touched the words as he read "Four days. Four days? When did you all find it?"

"Previous night when we got back home from our trip." Hoseok answered.

"It's evening now so three days from today. What is it?" The priest asked to no one in general, face scrunched, trying to think of an explanation when suddenly his face lit up.

"No moon day?" he spoke and then as if realisation dawned upon him, he let out a gasp and said "Oh no! That means-"

"Wh-what? What does it mean?" Taehyung asked, curiousity written on each ones faces.

"Where's Jimin-ssi? Take me to him." The priest asked in haste.

They lead the priest to the dancer's room. Jimin was sleeping but there was no peace on his face. Ghostly pale skin, proper dark bags under his scrunched eyes, hollow cheeks and everything just made him look- lifeless.

Father Gong Yoo pulled out his metallic cross necklace and very gently placed it over Jimin's forehead. Jimin, despite of being heavily dosed with meds, responded to it quite vigorously.

His eyeballs seemed to move side to side under his closed eyes. He started making inhumane noises like roaring and growling as he seemed to be restricting himself from screaming out.

"Father! He's shaking. What are you doing?" Taehyung yelled, scared from the sight infront of him.

Suddenly, dark brown bruises started appearing on Jimin's arms and neck as his body shook vigorously. Taehyung ran towards Jimin, held his body close and yelled "Stop!! His body is burning."

As soon as Gong Yoo's eyes fell upon the bruises, he pulled the holy cross away and sat down right there next to Jimin. Getting the cross away from Jimin seemed to calm him down and  he fell back into deep slumber. The formerly formed bruises on his body lightened up after losing contact with the metal.

Taehyung had tears in his eyes just like the rest of the bangtan members present there as he held Jimin close and cried.

"Wh-What happened Father? Why was he reacting this way?" Seokjin asked, horror written across his face.
