His robust arms prop me up on the surface of the counter, as he spreads my legs apart and wraps them around his waist as his lips leave fierce kisses along my collarbone. I get distracted by the noise of soft footsteps coming down the stairs, growing louder and louder. 'Rafe' I whisper, tugging at his feathery hair in effort to pull him off me, earning a frustrated groan from him as he refuses to let go of me.

'someone's coming'

His lips leave my skin as he turns his head to look behind him, meanwhile the footsteps continue to approach us. 'Shit' he grunts, removing his hand from my thigh. It was too dark to see anything, if anyone was there or who it was, so he hastily lifts me off the counter so my feet are touching the ground, and hides behind the kitchen door.

'Blair?' my little sisters sweet voice questions as she nears closer to me, my heart racing as I watch Rafe slip behind her and exit the room. 'yeah, it's me. Just getting something to drink. Are you ok?' I ask her, before grasping the glass of water that Rafe had left on the side earlier and taking a large sip. 'A little bit sea sick' she groans, clutching onto her stomach.

'Here, take one of these' I hand her a Dramamine tablet, something that always used to help me feel better when I used to get bad sea sickness. My little sister swallows a tablet, before heading back upstairs, myself following behind her, and I enter her tiny bedroom, making sure I tuck her in.

'sweet dreams' I begin to say, 'may your dreams shine bright and your knight come to bid you goodnight' I continue, as her voice joins me in our traditional goodnight speech. A small chuckle sounds from the both of us as I tuck her silky brown hair behind her ear and plant a small kiss on her head, and blissfully watch as she drifts to sleep.

------------------------

I awake to the sunlight gleaming into my slender room. The cruiser being 4 bedrooms meant that a singular bed was about the only thing which could fit into each one, but I'd grown to half appreciate the artistry of it all. I guess it was quite pretty. And kind of nice to be away from the island for a few days. Although I was missing the crew.

My attention couldn't neglect the issue of what happened between me and Rafe. I was baffled as to why I felt no shame about last night, but I'd never felt shameful about something that felt right. Because it did, feel right.

Everyone and their aunt knows that me and Rafe cannot stand each other, but I was beginning to wonder whether that animosity was just a disguise for something more meaningful. But, at the same time, I couldn't allow myself to draw a blank under all the dreadful things he's done, not just to me, but my friends too.

I couldn't just forget about who he is, and what he does.

My mind wandered to the thought of jj.

I bet he's having the time of his life, having my house all to himself.

My thoughts then strayed back to Rafe, who's boisterous laughs were filling the silence in my ears. I decided to peek out the window of my polished bedroom and quickly identified my mum and dad, Jake, Tash and Rafe all in the ocean, each situated on a jet ski. Grinning to myself, I was quick to fling my lengthy hair into a ponytail and dress myself into a nude brown bikini, eager to join them outside.

I dashed outside to where the group were and fixed myself at the edge of the boat, temporarily, while glancing down at the Prussian blue water, which was looking extremely inviting. 'You coming in Blair?' My dad cheers before I focus my gaze on him, to see my mother sat behind him, her arms wrapped around him for stability and a jubilant look on her precious face.

'Do you know who I am?' I scoff, before I slowly reverse. An enormous smirk makes its way to my face as I sprint along the end of the boat and tuck my knees in to my chest, before my body smashes against the oceans surface. They collectively whoop as my head arises and I catch my breath.

A jet ski parks next to me, I glance up to the sweet sight of a dark blonde boy offering his hand, before he lifts me up and stations me behind him. 'You better hold on tight' he smirks as he watches my arms snake around his body, and I allow my chin to rest on his shoulder. 'You gonna take me for a ride?' I gently whisper in his ear, aware that my whole family are just metres away from us. 'You bet' he murmurs, before racing off through the angelic waves.

'This is a good spot' Rafe declares, before lifting himself up, and standing with both feet on the platform before spinning around to face me, rather, glare down at me. I was still seated, so he was probably enjoying the view of me breaking my neck to look up at him. We all know what he was thinking. He grabs the bottom of my chin, his thumb caressing my face.

We were out in the middle of nowhere, nothing but infinite ocean to be seen. We'd travelled about 5 minutes out from the boat, myself still having no clue what this little escape was about.

'Stand up' he demands, my face still grasped by his hold, his fascinating eyes fixed onto mine.

This man could tell me to do anything, and I'd do it. I hated myself for it.

I do as he says, and once I'm stood he lifts up the seat I was on to reveal a collection of beers stored in the little compartment beneath us. Delving around through the bottles, he lets out a content chuckle whilst I try to regulate my balance.

'Can you hurry up? What are you even looking for?'

He rises up before we both settle back into our seated positions, and he holds out a tiny clear plastic bag in one hand, and a lighter in the other. The tiny bag contained 2 blunts, freshly rolled. 'I saved it for me and Jake, you fancy some?' He asks me, the knowledge in my head that I knew he wasn't gonna easily accept no for an answer.

'Go on then.' my complying words cause his lips to curl into a golden grin before he places the blunt in his mouth and lights the end, taking a deep inhale of the smoke. He passes it behind his shoulder, to me, and I do the same and take a couple hits of the weed.

The blunt soon gets dashed into the satin sea when we're done with it,

The effects already kick in, the feeling of peace roaming my body as we both sit in stillness. 'You wanna drive back?' the pretty boy asks me as he runs his hand through his flimsy hair and waits for my response. 'I don't know how to drive this thing sober, let alone stoned' I laugh at his ridiculous question as he stands up, forces me to scoot forward and positions his body behind me.

'I'll teach you' he murmurs in my ear, his deep voice sending a tingle through my body, from head to toe. His concrete chest pressed up against my back, his hands intertwined with mine and were forced onto the handlebars.
