Tommy didn't know where he was going so choosing the directions per luck was the best he could do. Never in his life did the boy feel so overwhelmed by nothingless. He was trying to keep himself together but for what. Nobody cared anyway.

"I'm a failure"

Tommy aimlessly went through the streets of his naiborhood his mind deep in thoughts. When did his life become so awful. Why did it become so exhausting and meaningless?
I think I've reached the point, where I'm just done.
I tried
I cried
I faught
I failed
I'm too tired to keep going. I have nothing left to try for. This time i won't fight back.

The boy reached a lake with a bridge crossing it.
This is my only chance...
Grabbing his hair and squeezing his eyes Tommy made up his mind. Keeping a steady pace he walked to the bridge. His whole body was shaking but Tommy didn't stop. He couldn't not anymore.

The moon was the only light source iluminating the village and forest behind. The trees were rustling in the distance due to the wind and everything was silent except from little insects chirping in the grass.

Tommy reached the middle of the bridge and put his hands on the railing. The water looked black, almost like ink he realized as he looked down. The voices of his nightmare came back haunting him, telling him to jump. He couldn't resist anymore so he just obeyed and climbed over the railing. "this is it huh" he whispered "the end" sighting he closed his eyes, making a little salute. "Bye bye".

W-wait

A sudden voice appeared, making him open his eyes again.
"...what..." Tommy looked around him seeing nobody. He was the only one on the bridge. "What the fuck" he looked confused. "God I'm already imagining things" he shook his head and looked down at the water once again. Taking a deep breath he stepped forward, only to be stopped again.
Wait
"What the fuck do you want?!" Tommy bursted out angry.
Are you really going to jump?
"What does it look like dickhead"
He recognized the voice it was the same one that was torturing him over the past couple of weeks.
You can't
"I can"
You won't
"Oh i will" he scoffed. This was just a waste of time.
You may be a bag of shit Tommy but it's not your time to die yet
"Wow you're really good at comforting" he rolled his eyes.
I'm your brain what do you expect
"Touché" Tommy smiled slightly.

Hey Tommy do you see that playground over there?
The voice asked, distracting Tommy from looking down.
"Oh yea Tubbo and i used to go there all the time as children"
Why don't you go check it out
"Mhh i don't know" Tommy answered quietly not wanting to abandon his plan.
Maybe your signatures are still there
"Oh my god you're be right it could be still there i have to check!!"
He exclaimed now suddenly excited. Climbing back over the railing he forgot his original plan and sprinted to the playground.

Arriving he started searching the trees until it caught his eyes.
" It's still here!" He yelled and looked at the tree. There was Tommy and Tubbos names with an egg shaped heart around it carved in the tree.
"It's been over ten years..."
He and Tubbo made a pinky promise to each other to always be bestfriends. He could remember it clearly, it was one of the best days of his life.

"You can't catch me" a children's voice interrupted the silence of the night. "Watch me" a second voice appeared filled with laughter. Tommy turned around, surprised as he saw toddler tommy and tubbo running around the playground. They were so happy and stuck in their own little world. Tommy began to walk up to them being amazed by their energy. Little tommy was the first one to notice him and stopped in his tracks, causing tubbo to bump in his back. "Ouch" little tubbo murmured falling to the ground. "Hello sir" small tommy reached out his hand looking at the older expectingly.
"Uh-"
"You have to shake the hand"
tommy whispered looking around to see if anyone saw the stupidness of this man.
"Oh uhm right" Tommy blinked a bit startled but proceeded to shake the boys hand.

"Im tommy" the kid said proudly
"And thats tubbo" he pointed at tubbo who was still on the floor.
Would you like to play with us? tommy asked already jumping in exitement. The older wanted to decline but he just couldn't resist these little creatures of happiness. "Alright" he agreed. "Wohoo catch me lame ass! " tommy said while already running away.
"Hey come back here you little shit" he yelled and started to run after him. He would have been caught in the matter of seconds but Tommy slowed down, now jogging behind the child. tubbo joined them as well and they were all just running around aimlessly.

Tommy had the time of his life.
He was laughing the entire time and eventually caught up to the boys.
"Alright" huff "Caught ya".
"That's not fairrr you cheated!" "How the fuck was i supposed to cheat?"
"I dunno but you did"
" if you say so."
"Come on let's swing!!"
Little tubbo said running to the swings.
"Race ya!" little tommy said already running away before he could process it.
"Hey you cheater!!"
"Haha got what you deserved"
"You little peace of shit"
"Come push me bossman!"
tubbo said and the older started to push him.

tommy got on a swing as well and clung to his cow plushy. Together they laughed once again while Tommy pushed them.
"tommy, tubbo it's time to go home!" A voice called for the kids, which turned out to be tommys mom who was standing next to tubbos.
Aww man we were having so much fun.
Ugh fine bossman see you around!
tubbo said and ran up to his mom hugging her. tommy looked at his older self with something in his eyes Tommy couldn't quite understand.
"Here" tommy gave him his cow "keep him safe for me okay? Don't let me down."
his younger self said and ran away as well, dissapearing like a pile of dust blown away by the wind.

Tommy looked down at his arms but with younger tommy the teddy disappeared too.

"I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise tommy."
"I can't let you down again..."
