"Why would he want to meet up at a cafe all of a sudden?" Nari wondered as she made her way to the cafe where she had to meet her student. "At least he didn't cancel it at the last minute like the other day."
Nari, like other young adults, was a university student who balanced her studies with a part-time job. Hers was tutoring. She'd meet up with her students and do private sessions with them during her free time.
As she reached the cafe, she saw a familiar boy gazing out the large glass windows, fingers drumming on the table.
"Hey!" Nari broke the boy's train of thought as she sat across him. "Why did you suddenly tell me to come here instead of the usual session at your place?"
