Soobin's place
Yeonjun's POV
It was finally the day of Beomgyu's birthday and Soobin and I were almost done with the preparations.
Soobin was putting up the balloons on the wall as I passed him the scotch tape.
"Almost done," he said before getting down.
We looked at the decorations and it looked pretty good. The theme of the birthday was music with pink and white colors since they were Beomgyu's favorite colors.
The balloons, 'Happy Birthday', the musical symbols, and other decorations that we put went well with the theme.
Me and Soobin were satisfied as we looked at the results. We also ordered a bear birthday cake for Beomgyu. There was no way he wasn't gonna love it.
We finally settled on the sofa.
Soobin passed me a water bottle and we took some rest, enjoying the calmness of the spring. The sliding glass door gave us a beautiful view of the lush backyard trees and the blue sky.
I heard the sound of footsteps and knew right away who those belonged to. The girls entered from the front door beaming at us.
Nari wore the same black beaded necklace Beomgyu gave her which complimented her white wrinkled tube top paired with a black bolero shrug and high-waisted skirt of the same color.
Jiwon on the other hand looked smart in her newspaper look tube top which she had paired with a long-sleeved black bolero and a high-waisted white jeans with a slit at the knee.
"Hey!" Nari and Jiwon greeted.
"Wow. You two look great," I complimented, getting up to greet them.
"Agreed," remarked Soobin, which made the girls chuckle.
"Well you two look great as well," commented Nari.
"Well, what did you get for Beomgyu?" I implored, looking at the gifts the girls were holding."
"It's a surprise," Nari teased.
"You've already done the preparations?" said Jiwon, looking around, "We said we wanted to help."
"I know I know," I started, placing my hands on Jiwon's shoulders, "...but it wasn't much work so we thought we would be able to do it, "Besides I know you had your studies and Nari noona had her sessions."
