It was around 1 am.
She was watching YouTube with her earphones, trying to fight her insomnia.
The room was dead silent, only the sound of a car passing quickly near her house could be heard.
She was strongly into RPG horror videogames and very nostalgic stuff in general, like the Wii console or anything that reminded her of the good ol' times.

A sudden notification popped up on her screen, a text from no one other than her best friend.
He was probably the best person she has ever met. He could listen to her ranting or talking the whole night, talking about planning parties. The best party they alway plan togheter is her birthday, and it was always perfect.

"Oi"

"Hey there"
She quickly replied.

"There's this game you need to play"
"It's called brawl stars"

She saw the game in a few ads, and if her best friend asked her to install it, then she would do it right away.

"Ok, give me a minute"

While the game was installing, she looked at the pictures of it that were on the play store. It looked nice.

"Is it done?"

"Yeah"

"Okay, do the tutorial and tell me when you finish"

She opened up the game, and started the tutorial.
She was a bit confused with the controls at first, but once she got to play her really first match of "gem grab", she understood that the game was so good.

"Hey I finished"

"Here:"
A long link popped up on the screen, and once she clicked it she was transferred to the game lobby, in the "friends" section, and noticed that there was a player.
So this is him uh?

A message popped up on the screen, asking if she wanted to join a team.
She pressed the green button, and saw her friend with a different "character" that hers.
"Press ready" He texted in the game chat. She did as he asked and the matchmaking started.

It was very different from before.
It was a different event.
And she didn't have the minum idea of what to do.
There were some kind of things with a health bar, which his friend started to attack, and she did the same.
They ended up loosing, 5th place to be exact.

After a few matches, every of them lost, the two friend went to sleep.

.....

Exam finished!
She had the whole summer to do anything she liked!
She decided to open up a game that she hasn't open in a while: Brawl stars.

Everything looked so different from 2018.

Brawl pass, new design, quests....
She wasn't familiar with this kind fo stuff.
But anyway, she started a match with her favorite brawler, Jessie, and she won.

She passed the whole afternoon playing. Win after win.
"I'm so close to 1K!"

Then after a win she reached it.

A week later she got to 3K and unlocked Bo, she flexed with all of her friends, every of them played brawl stars, that she managed to get from 1K to 3K in a single week.

Every of them commented about the fact that they toght she had quit the game and that she had a rank 23 Jessie.
Thoese were the best memories of her summer.

She is strongly into RPG horror videogames and very nostalgic stuff in general, like the Wii console or anything that reminded her of the good ol' times.

No text popped up.
Her best friend was the only one that was still playing. And he was rarely playing. Like once a month if she was lucky.

25K...
She glanced at the screen.
She missed playing with her friends.
All of those thropies...

She understood that the game will be a dear part of her childhood that she will never forget, and she, if she had the possibility, will alway keep on playing.

She will always keep on brawlin'

She, once her exams will be over, will get some of her friends to play again.

She will keep on writing to put smile onto people's faces.

She will always be a super nostalgic person -_-

She took a deep breath as a tear rolled down her cheek, she is not sad, she is happy.

And to be honest....

"Hey, wanna play brawl a bit?"

She did not regret a thing about this.
